I soooooo feel like posting the reverse of the usual denialists response to global warming

"Meh! I live in the tropics I could do with some global cooling!" followed by "Global cooling will be good for the planet because there will be fewer tropical diseases which means there will be more land to exploit"

The IPCC has made no hard-and-fast prediction: it's based on emissions, which are unpredictable.
Easterbrook's predictions, by contrast, have been waaaaaay off the mark.

And your temperature chart is way off too. Here's an accurate one:

Any idiot could look at those charts and clearly see that the earth has been getting cooler... also those pesky fluctuations that are a thorn in your side...

I really love it when people use the word "idiot" in these posts, implying that they are smart. When the truth of the matter is that people with good educations and high I.Q.s don't use words like "idiot." If they did, they would lose all credibility as a level headed, unbiased research scientist, much like this poster.

    1. I'm not a Scientist.

Mark Twain said, "Don't let your education get in the way of your learning."

I believe "education" is a waste of time. Its sad how you would make a generalization with the words good and education... Then in the same thought, insult me for using a word...

Stay with the topic, and refute my claims made in the OP.

I think in your case it would be better to say "Don't let your preconceived ideas get in the way of your learning."

Preconceived ideas? So in that case you are suggesting that i was born rejecting AGW science?
    No?
So that means i must have learned something prior to hearing about AGW...
Then that era came when Al Gore started scaring people about the sky melting, and claiming to invent the Internet... I thought it was a bit far fetched, especially the Internet part... I ignored it for the most part...
    Defense mechanism? Yes...
Sub-Conscience tells me its lies and cant be trusted, because it goes against the BASICS that I learned in Elementary School...

Is this what you were referring to when you said "Preconceived Ideas"

If he wanted the government to educate the kids, it would have made it into the Bill of Rights...

It says Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness...
    Not Education.

In fact, it should be argued that the choice of how one is educated, should be associated with liberty...

uh huh ... so you don't know what "preconceived" means.

preconceived idea - Formed before having the evidence for its truth or usefulness.

To form (an opinion, for example) before possessing full or adequate knowledge or experience.

no. it means that you have formed an opinion beforehand, and this informs your opinion on th eissue.

if your ideas were not "preconceived" you would be open to scientific information that has been learned in recent decades.

    what is "sub-conscience?"

May I recommend that you re-take history class as I see you must have flunked the first time. :)

Bill of Rights does not mention "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". The phrase is from the Declaration of Independence.

And every civilisation in the world the more educated the populace the greater the freedom

Only someone too lazy to learn would think otherwise
