Good grief he's condemned them over and over. He answered that he condemned them tonight and told the proud boys tonight. He condemned them in the Charlottesville press conference. Let's be honest about this please. On the other hand Biden said there was no Antifa.

 

I meant the charge made by the other poster on this specific point.
But beyond that, I never bought the Trump Campaign talking point that Biden is demented. I'm a healthcare worker who has worked extensively with demented patients, and Biden isn't one. This debate, his debate against Sanders, his performance in the Democratic National Convention are all 100% incompatible with dementia. And people say "they pumped him with drugs" and that's absurd. No dementia medications can restore a demented patient to lucidity. They merely delay by 6 months the progression of the illness but don't reverse anything.

 

What I learned from Joe Biden tonight - "ANTIFA is an idea, not an organization."

 

And he will punch back when punch that's for sure but that's not a sign of weakness. I think Biden's name calling and refusing to answer question was the weakness.

I fully acknowledge the discussions got heated on both ends but interesting you would overlook Biden calling the other person a racist, a clown and told them to shut up and quit yapping. Yea we were.

 

All debates will proceed as scheduled. Anybody saying otherwise is engaged in wishful thinking, whatever the agenda behind it. This is similar to the ridiculous conspiracy theories that the DNC would change the nominee and give it to Andrew Cuomo or Hillary Clinton.

 

Review the threads on this forum. Or watch the Trump rally in Ohio where Trump asked his supporters to cheer for their Governor and wear red MAGA masks. They booed him. He seemed surprised.

 

I think if anything hurt him with the undecideds that was it. I think they were scratching their heads going WHAT?

 

I get that, but there were times he should have let Biden speak. The more Biden talks, the less coherent he becomes. He's fairly good with a quip, but gets drifty every time he tries to go into detail about anything. Trump needs to let Biden be Biden.

Biden didn't have a good debate to me. While he wasn't lost, he also wasn't poised and failed to substantially answer questions.

Trump is correct about the logistics of what people want to do, even they themselves admitted it would be a mess!

My assessment:
Trump actually answered the questions but lost on not being able to shut the F___ up.
Biden didn't answer the questions but went out on tangents instead.

It didn't change my mind because:
I have to tune out everything Trump says because it's just idiotic but he does get results and that's what I really care about. He's old but if he kicks, I don't have a problem with Pence.
Biden is old. If he wins, he'll be 81 by the time his term is up. He obviously can't think on his feet any more. If he kicks, that leaves Kamala and that's scary. There was a time when I would have voted for him. Now is not that time.

Biden has always been a crude obnoxious bully.
Especially with Democrats who question him at his own events. Trump is probably the only Republican capable of actually hitting back.

 

Biden was exposed. Packing the court, the Bernie Manifesto, the Green New Deal. He supported all these things yet lied and denied in front of the American people.

 

I would prefer actual debate and discussion over what we got tonight.

It's simple and it is what I've been saying over and over: Biden paid some lip service to the Left to keep the Sanders/AOC fans engaged and voting Democrat, but Biden has no intention of implementing any of their radical policies. Integrity problem? Yeah, but then, ALL politicians do that. They all posture to get votes and then do something else once elected. No exception, including Trump. When is that grant from the Mexican government coming, so that they pay for that beaaaaauuuutiful wall? Where is the much better healthcare plan we were supposed to get day one of Trump's presidency? Campaign promises are a dime a dozen, and I never bought the idea that after 47 years as a moderate politician, Biden would suddenly turn extreme left.
