Appreciate the apology...... I understand both sides do that but the stand by comment is a bridge to far in my opinion. I'm never going to be knowingly disingenuous or comment declarations unless I myself have verified the information fyi (or atleast I try to make an honest attempt of verifying)

We have recourse for that.... if the citizens of Portland are unhappy about how that was handled then they can vote their mayor/governor out..... Portland was only a distraction for trump though it was way the dog

 

Why would any corporation that Trump sponsors and publicly lauds be hand braking? My view is.....they are going as fast as they can.

It's as much as a diversion as antifa is and Trumps stand by comment was just dumb and dangerous... Republicans say "look Biden wont say the words law and order" but if Biden had told antifa to stand back and stand by what would your reaction have been?

Trump did get praise from Cuomo and Newsome off the top of my head. Your correct. My only problem is everything he points to including that was at the beginning..... what happened in the subsequent months? Because if he had accomplishments in those months (may-sept) why doesn't he ever say any?

Well......not how I saw it down here. It was complete rubbish. I have grandkids who can even spat better than that. That was a fiasco, a schitty disappointment, and I shake my head as to how that can possibly be the best Team USA can offer the USA, let alone the rest of the Planet. Who cares? The proud boys haven't even done anything. Did they burn all those buildings? Did they cause all those killings in cities around the country? Did they loot stores? Were they pulling people out of cars? Did they physically attack reporters? So much is made about Trump's statements about the media being the enemy of the people, but it's Antifa that smashed up the CNN studio. They attacked a CNN, Fox News, and a Wall Street Journal reporter. I saw this on television during the "mostly peaceful protests". The problem with the Proud Boys is a shared delusion among Democrats, and the danger they currently pose is completely insignificant to far-left terrorism and riots. It's a joke.

And yes. I wish Biden did tell Antifa to stand down. I wish he put more pressure on people in his party that are actively promoting Antifa and BLM to stop all the violence. I wish he did call up some of those Democrat mayors to influence them to stop all the chaos. He hasn't. He won't. Cause these are his voters. Joe Biden is doing what he's always done. Nothing or nothing good.

 

And in the meantime, chaos and destruction continue. Just wait while nightly riots rage on....hell of a plan, that plan.

Biden flip-flopped within 20 seconds on the whole shutdown issue, saying he wanted to keep things shut until we could control it and only open the economy when we have a vaccine. Yet he doesn't want the vaccine cause he's now an anti-vaxxer. It's mad. Guy thinks we won't have a vaccine until next summer even though there are three pharmaceutical companies that have issued press releases and late stage studies indicating that production can begin in late October or November. What is Biden's source for information for making his statement? Public officials of some sort. The studies are published online. Everyone can go read them. Moderna and Johnson and Johnson.

It's just an insane situation. Joe Biden is the biggest liar I've ever seen in politics. How does he not know that he signed off on a plan with Bernie Sanders? He said this 10 times in the debate, and Chris Wallace actually asked him about it.

And then the biggest piece of nonsense was about Trump being divisive cause he's not approachable. Kanye West came to him about the Crime Reform Bill and he made it happen. He told his party to eat a D, and got it through the Senate.

A fair question. I think he focuses on his earlier response, like banning most travel from China, because it draws such a clear distinction with how Biden would have responded. But the Trump administration has been doing things in subsequent months too. Here are a smattering of examples:

Of course its "who cares" when it's your side and it's the end of the world when it's the otherside.... that's what's wrong with the world no moral consistency and changing values depending on who does what

 

I'm not saying I disagree with any of those points but I do have some issues with the testing ramp up you cited because that like most issues relating to Trump and Covid he sends mixed messages because when those things were happening didn't Trump say we should test less? Even in tongue and cheek it's not good
