That's true. Hispanics have been voting around 1 out of 3 for Republicans for years. Maybe the DNC is assuming 66% of the Latino vote, like they assume 90% of the black vote. That still makes the focus on the Marxist BLM really less about "black" and more about needing the Socialists' votes.

Interestingly, Rasmussen (one of the few pollsters to do regular polling split by race) has been showing 20-40% job approval for Trump among black voters. DNC's private internal polling must be showing those numbers as well. Think they're scared?

I think the DNC and their media outlets are . . . terrified.

Our bipartisan corrupt ruling political class not divided.
It is focused like a laser on "fund-raising" and moneymaking.

“Media reports on government actions, whether debates, legislation, or regulation, almost always present them in terms of pure policy. New laws are for a specific purpose, perhaps even a noble one. But what if that isn't the real purpose of the exercise? What if politics is largely about fund-raising and moneymaking? The commercial motives of the Permanent Political Class in acting or not acting are rarely questioned and virtually never fully understood.” EXTORTION, "How Politicians Extract Your money, BuyVotes, And Line Their Own Pockets, Peter Schweizer, HMO, NY, NY, 2013. p. 2, 3.

True. It's grounds for dismissal and he was dismissed. It's not grounds for slapping him with "dishonorable discharge" which is category reserved for traitors, deserters, and people who assault superior officers, etc., that is, much worse offenses than being a drug addict.

Yes, I know that he said "Stand back and stand by." One of the most disgraceful presidential statements I've ever heard; maybe the most. He is encouraging white supremacists to "stand by," presumably to engage in violence if he loses the election. That's utterly despicable and in my opinion disqualifying, for a presidential candidate in the freaking United States of America. We're not Nazi Germany or Stalin's Soviet Union.

Have you noticed how the Proud Boys are rejoicing and running around with the Stand By banner? Wake up. These are the kind of people our fathers fought against in World War II. That an American president encourages them is utterly disgraceful.

If a Democrat president had done it, you'd be all over him in condemnation. But because it is Cult Leader Saint Trump, you still look the other way. Frankly, shame on you.

Do you have a better health care plan now, thanks to Trump? Did Mexico pay a cent towards those miles of (incomplete) wall? Wake up, buddy. Trump made electoral promises that he failed. All politicians do. He is not a perfect saint like you seem to think. He's just a politician.

last night wasn't meaningful content by any stretch.

45 minute in i was wondering if I could find a rerun of housewives of atlanta or something else just as ungodly awful, I'm surprised that i actually powered through and finished the debate, the only thing that helped was multitasking on my phone.

    Well said.

I think debates should have each candidate's microphone shut down while the other speaks. An adult should be in charge of that, given that the two children on stage can't manage it on their own.

The difference is that trump supporters love that. They love the division and acrimony. They cheer him on when he says something “that makes liberal heads explode”.

People who are voting for Biden wish there was a better choice and you can be damned sure that with an adult in the debates, instead of trump, it would not have been endless screaming.

Trump dragged the debate down into the gutter, just where he’s been dragging the country for the last 4 years.

Trumps biggest mistake was allowing the so-called neutral moderator to characterize critical race theory as "sensitivity training". He should have also made the point that the reason cities were burning across the country was Critical Race Theory. He did a pretty good job of it but damn I wish we could have had a Jordan Peterson up there to answer it. If Critical Race Theory wins, America as a country is finished. If it wins, the walls will go up to keep Americans IN. It's end goal is Marxism and complete authoritarianism. IMHO, it is the biggest existential threat to America ever (now surpassing even the Civil War/Nazi Germany/USSR/China).

Professional politicians will never engage in formal neutrally regulated debates, and if they did the public would tune out.

He said "stand back and stand by" to the Proud Boys. I think it's a rather debatable point whether the Proud Boys are "white supremacists". For starters, here's their current leader, Enrique Tarrio:

The Anti-Defamation League says of them "its members represent a range of ethnic backgrounds, and its leaders vehemently protest any allegations of racism."

No one think you are kidding, but if you think trump reflected well on the GOP or the country you are off your freaking rocker. Not even kidding.

Most of us have to be for it because we know we couldn't (or can't) afford coverage if we have or develop a preexisting condition. We're one diagnosis away from not being able afford insurance.

But the cost of covering those with preexisting conditions is expensive in an already very expensive health care system. The only way we can include all the people with health conditions without raising rates is to finance their inclusion through general taxes.

Ordinary American conservatives believe in free market competition.
There is little evidence that the professional bipartisan political class has any use for free market competition.
So long as the US economy is highly regulated it would be better if the regulations and tax code favored small business over big business. Trump could do more to push the system in that direction but he would face the united opposition of the entire entrenched political class.

“Getting Rich has become the great bipartisan ideal: “No Democrats and Republicans in Washington anymore, only millionaires”, goes the maxim. The ultimate Green party. You still hear the term “public service” thrown around, but often with irony and full knowledge that “self-service” is now the real insider play.”
THIS TOWN, Mark Leibovich, Penguin Books, 2013. p. 9.

If by "y'all" you mean The United States of America, you might have a point. As for me, I will not be voting this time around.
