    I understand Trump announced the creation of a “National Garden of American Heroes” that will feature statues of prominent Americans.

    But guess three times what American will feature most prominently when this park opens? (If ever but probably never.)

    Perhaps the over-tanned one himself?

    Let's see how this insane idea works out.

    The speech was quite the tearjerker, and was honestly the President's best speech in his political career. He made a distinction between us and the terrorists, as he called on the spirit of all Americans and his EO has basically enshrined all past, present and future generations of American Greatness.

    That it gets people salty, is just an added bonus.

    Comparing a statute to mount Rushmore is an apple's to orange's comparison. Mainly because of the size and the logistics of trying to destroy them. A rogue group of people could topple a statute how would they be able to even do that?

    Fascism, like cancer, never just begins. It creeps up on you. And the cancer that is Trump is well and truly overtaking America.

    Trumps only rhetoric, like Hitler, is portraying himself bigger than life (hence Mount Rushmore) to his right-wing, whiter than white, racist base.

    There is no other substance at work here.

    No ideas to save a country from poverty and Corona deaths.

    Instead Trump only blames peaceful protesters (Black Lives Matter followers) as destructive radicals, so he can divide a nation.
    Notice how he totally ignores what Black Lives Matter REALLY stands for? The right of black people to be treated equally, which has nothing to do with being radical.

    Trump has turned Black Lives Mater into his own racist narrative.

    Like Hitler demonized the Jews.

    The analogy stands-as they are both symbols.

    Unless you think that likely voters are fine with tearing down statues but think Rushmore would be too damn hard and therefore oppose it. These are emotional decisions, not math problems.

    And, when you compare the scope of statues, nationwide-and the manpower and cost to remove them I don't even know that Rushmore is close in time or effort or cost.

    Also, please link to your studies/polls that show its "Mainly because of the size and the logistics of trying to destroy them."
