LOVE & FEAR are our only two choices.

That’s right, when it comes to deciding how to think, feel, and act regarding any possible situation, condition, or event in your life, you only have two basic choices. You can choose to be either loving or fearful.

The act of choosing to be loving leads to your happiness while choosing to be fearful leads to your unhappiness. So, what can you do to make sure you are choosing love instead of fear?

You can begin by understanding the definitions of both love and fear. As you begin to strengthen your understanding of exactly what both love and fear actually are, you strengthen your ability to make the correct choice every time, thereby maximizing your experience of happiness.

So what is love and what is fear? Both have a multitude of definitions and meanings because, as you now understand, every thought, feeling, and action is found in one of these two categories.

Let’s begin with love. Love is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as 1. A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. 2. An intense personal attachment or affection. 3. A strong enthusiasm or liking.

The Holy Bible as well as virtually every other Holy scripture from every great religion refers to God as Love or that the Highest Wisdom and Power in the Universe is a Loving Presence. Every great religion teaches that loving or deeply appreciating God, along with Loving or deeply appreciating every human being are the two most important things any of us can do to be happy.

Love has also been defined as virtue, truth, kindness, forgiveness, gratitude, joyfulness, charity, honesty, etc. In general, the Golden Rule pretty much sums up what it means to be loving towards other people, which is to treat other people the way you want to be treated yourself.

What is fear? Webster defines fear as 1. A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, or pain. 2. To be worried or afraid, etc. The Holy Bible along with the Holy Scriptures of all great religions defines fear as a synonym for error or a false idea. Fear is an absence of God or Love.

In Holy Scriptures, the 7 Cardinal Sins, the sins that incorporate all sins, are all the product of Fear. The 7 Cardinal Sins are Lust, Greed, Hatred, Vanity, Jealousy, False Pride, and The Abuse of Power.

The meanings of the 7 cardinal sins are pretty clear, except for the one called false pride. False pride is another term for arrogance or the belief that you are superior to others.

Now that we understand that fear is error or the false idea, we need to understand how false ideas or erroneous thinking leads to more false ideas and how false ideas always lead to unhappiness, disease, destruction, and death.

For centuries, all the great religions have taught that God, Brahma, Tao, Allah, etc. (All different names referring to the same universal omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient wisdom and power) is the wisdom and power, the ineffable energy of which everything is made. This Super form of energy of which everything is made is also Pure Consciousness and totally loving in nature. All forms of fear result as you ignore, reject, limit, or fail in any way to allow this Super Loving Energy to flow into and directly influence any situation, condition, or event.

The erroneous belief or idea that God is not unified or all that is, omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient leads to the fear-based false belief or idea that humans can be or are separate from God.

This false belief in separation leads to the erroneous fear-based false belief or false idea that you can be superior or inferior to another human being. This is a false idea or belief because the truth is everything is unified or one, including every human being. The truth is every human being is made of God, totally and entirely. Every human being is 100% God. There are no exceptions. Therefore, both separation and superiority are literally impossible.

These fear-based, erroneous false beliefs in separation and superiority also lead to another fear-based erroneous false idea or false belief known as lack or limitation. This means that people believe there is a limited supply of things like food, water, natural resources, etc. This false belief that there is not enough to go around, coupled with the false beliefs in separation and superiority serves as the primary motivation for taking or stealing from others, for war, for murder, for destruction, and death.

Now, science is beginning to catch up to philosophy. While the great spiritual masters have taught mankind for centuries the truth about the omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience of God, only now are our top physicists and biologists beginning to discover the amazing science that actually proves this to be true.

The Fibonacci Numbers, The Golden Mean, The Divine Proportion, Solfeggio Frequencies, Fractal Geometry, the Mandelbrot Set, Quantum Physics, M-Theory, Nanotechnology, Dr. Masaru Emoto’s amazing discoveries about water, and other discoveries all prove, without doubt, that Einstein was not only right about everything being unified, but now we know that everything is also profoundly intelligent.

This thing we call God is not only real and here but it is all that is and it is Love-based. Our purpose in being here is to come to the realization that choosing Love is the only intelligent choice.

 

What about boredom, disinterest, pity, and dismissal?

What do you suppose is the connection between the need for simplistic
absolutes, and attraction to fundamentalism?

This will take some heavy pondering.

 

It goes back to the fact that you are either living or you are dead.

 

There is no bright line distinction there either!

it's psych 101. kids need absolutes, and do better with the fewest number of 'options'. ditto dogs. yes or no, fetch or stay, bad or good.

the age of reason usually sees us (non-canines) move on to embrace all that wonderful stuff in the middle. fundyism argues rather strongly for the arrested development case.
