Nothing to do with the report. Don't hang by your thumbs while you are expecting anything from me. Who have I insulted? You trumpists insult me every day with your uninformed and unfounded remarks.
Going to play the victim card? So when this is found out to be nothing you are going to come back and explain your uninformed and unfounded remarks right?
By the 1980 we had to replace all of the fighter planes and fighter bombers for both the Air Force and the Navy. Remember that we had burned out the Century series fighters F100, F101, F102, F104, F105 and even the F106 was getting aged. We burned out the F4C Phantom II 's Cousair II the A2 and the early A6's were wearing. The C130's and C141's were heavily used during Vietnam the C123's were wat ages. We also needed to replace our land vehicles and do not forget the wear and tear on our aircraft carriers rousers and destroyers during the Vietnam war along with our fleet support ships. We were also trying to outspend the Soviets in the last stages of the Cold War. We needed to hasten along the cracking of the USSR so we needed to spend some money. Also remember that the VA system was starting to get hit with Vietnam veterans needing medical, care and WWII and Korean Veterans were hitting around age 60 and they were starting to tax ( no pun intended) the system. We were paying interest on the money we borrowed to fight the Vietnam War on top of all of this and we had expanded Medicare justbin time fir the WW II generation not just veterans to start hitting that system. You know there ain't no free lunch. You want to fight wars and we have to you need to pay for that. I say we the Royal we.
Just like you believe her because she comes from the Democratic side, I disbelieve her because she is a DNC spokesman.
You can't always tell and I don't assume anything. If they don't dress like a women, or act like a women you just don't know. And in this day and age....you can't be too careful. You just might offend someone.
Stop your partisan nonsense. The White House issued a memo favorable to Trump signed "Dr. Ronnie Jackson." Since the Physician to the President's name is "Dr. Ronny Jackson" there is ample reason to suspect the legitimacy of the memo. If you are upset that Rachel Maddow reported it, that does not change the credible evidence that the memo was falsified.
Well, at least they aren't liars, cowards, and thieves, like the Trump boys. Or drunks, and druggies, like the Bush girls. Of course, you have proof that the Obama girls are not vrtuous, or is this just the usual right wing bull ****. I would say bull ****.
Not upset at all Maddow reported it. I just don't take a supposed reporter working for the DNC seriously. Same goes for the other side. If I want political propaganda, the middleman, Maddow can be left out quite conveniently by me going straight to the DNC website. I don't need a spokesman for the RNC or DNC. Their web sites are readily available. You can believe her, of course you will with your Democratic leanings. I don't care if she is right or wrong. I just put her show down as super hyper partisan political propaganda. Same as I put Hannity's show into that very same class. What's so hard to understand about that?
Not at all. I had two of my five brothers declared 4F based on reports form private medical doctors. But hey, if Trump were to tell your crowd to jump, and kiss his ass, you would just say "how high". BTW, you do know that the "number" Trump claims to have had were not even used until 1969 one year AFTER Trump graduated from Wharton, right? Of course not. https://www.seattletimes.com/nation...-trumps-medical-deferment-during-vietnam-war/ "In an interview with The New York Times this past month, Trump said the bone spurs had been “temporary” — a “minor” malady that had not had a meaningful impact on him. He said he had visited a doctor who provided him a letter for the local draft board, which granted him the medical exemption. He could not remember the doctor’s name. Asked to provide The Times with a copy of the letter, which he had obtained as his fourth student deferment was set to expire, Trump said he would have to look for it. A spokeswoman later did not respond to repeated requests for copies of it. The Selective Service records that remain in the National Archives — many have been discarded — do not specify what medical condition exempted Trump from military service."
I am not sure she claims to be a journalist, however, it sounds like you are talking more about the likes of Limbaugh, or Hannity, two college dropouts that found a career in spreading faux news, and propaganda. Kind of like Reagan did during WW2. Then too, a very well respected journalist back in the 30's said journalism was dead then.
Yes, Trump does a lot of that. At least 5 times a day according to the ones that keep track. And here you just did one, and no one is keeping track.
Those two right wing people don't claim to be journalists. The ones in MSM do. And they are claiming to be doing journalism, when they are not meeting journalistic standards. If they were actually informing people, giving them the news, you would never see a completely one sided story, a one sided covered of an event or issue. If there were more than two sides, all sides would at least be mentioned. In the interest of giving as much info as possible, in order to inform, in order that a brain then has to process it and become informed. Being fed on side is propaganda, an attempt to manufacture consent in some way, and to exploit the listener's or viewer's ignorance. Real journalism does not tell people what to think, it gives them all sides, the facts, from more than one source, and having informed us of that, we then use our brains in order to process the info and come to a logical, rational, perception. But many of us here, using MSM, have been told what to think for years, and we think just as we are told to. Of course if the propaganda we were being fed did not agree with our faux liberal beliefs, we would change the channel and find one that did! lol
Your mind is closed. If you are unable to accept credible reporting (that no one attempts to refute) because you don't like the source, so be it.
I wasn't asking about your two brother experience with the military induction process, I was asking about your personal experience. You are aware if someone being drafted or enlisting were to get pass the preinduction medical examination without the bone spur being detected and ended up having foot bone spurs it would be detected with in a couple of weeks during basic and that recruit would be discharged ASP from the military with a VA 15% permanent disability for life. Two bone spurs one in each foot, a 30% VA disability getting a VA disability check for life paid by the taxpayers. There are numerous things that will get you a 4-F classification and even today you can't enlist with flat feet. Today 75% of todays young adults who try to enlist are rejected by the military, mostly because we have a generation of cream puffs who can't even pass the military's basic PFT. I was surprised how many I went to school with were rejected and classified as 4-F who were jocks and played contact sports in high school. Mostly bad knees and bad backs. During WW ll the number one cause for being rejected from serving was poor dental hygiene. The cause for bad teeth and gums was the poor diet during the Great Depression
That's what I have been saying all along. I don't believe a word these political propagandist say on their late night political talk shows. I personally wouldn't put forgering past The Donald. It's something with his character I am sure he would do. I just don't listen or watch political propaganda shows like Maddow, Hannity and the like. I never said Trump didn't do it, which you were hung up on. I just said I don't believe a word out of these very partisan propagandist that represent the RNC and DNC. I have no use for them. If I want their propaganda, I'll visit the RNC and the DNC web sites.
Reagan...what the **** are you talking about ??? President Reagan was the last President to have served in the U.S. Cavalry. If you didn't listen to all of the liberals hate mongering you would have already known that. Ronald Reagan was wearing the uniform long before Hollywood liberals who joined after December 7th 1941. Trooper Ronald Reagan: The Gipper's US Cavalry Legacy Lt. Ronald Reagan in US Cavalry. Camp Dodge, Iowa, pre- WW Two. When asked to name symbols of the presidency, many think of the more obvious trappings of power: Air Force One, the Secret Service and military escorts, convoys of dark limousines. But at the Reagan Presidential Library and the Reagan Ranch Center, one can see a remarkably personal symbol of Ronald Reagan the man, a clue to his character that reveals far more than armored limousines and private aircraft. At President Reagan’s June 2004 state funeral in Washington, there were huge crowds of mourners and dignitaries. Military and police honor guards. There were limousines, 21 Air Force F-15 Eagle fighters flying over in a “Missing Man” formation, and Army cannon booming away in salute to their fallen Commander-in-Chief. But if one looked towards the caisson, the Army artillery cart traditionally used to bear the coffin in military funerals, there was a truly rare and moving sight that will never occur again in American history. The caisson was pulled by four magnificent Army horses. Close to them, to the sound of slowly beating, muffled drums, a soldier on foot led a riderless horse named Sergeant York, to represent the fallen Commander-in-Chief. There in the stirrups, turned backward, were Reagan’s Model 1940 US Cavalry riding boots and spurs. This old Cavalry practice continued a Roman tradition in which a slain leader symbolically faces and salutes his men on the way to his final resting place, Ronald Reagan is the last President who was a veteran of the United States Horse Cavalry, a living link to the mounted Cavalry of American mythology. Though his enemies tried to deride him as a make-believe cowboy, Reagan was a genuine Trooper- a US Cavalry soldier trained to ride into battle on horseback. His riding was not an affectation put on for show to conform to an idolized, mythologized idea of the Old West. It was the legacy of his Cavalry service, a clue to understanding the man. Yet surprisingly, little has been written on Reagan, the Cavalry Trooper... continue -> https://owlcation.com/humanities/Trooper-Reagan-The-Gippers-US-Cavalry-Legacy
WHATEVER ! Still does not alter how Candidate McCain submitted thousands of his medical records { over 4,ooo } and allowed those like ABC to spend an afternoon going over them Whereas Obama, the Sneak, submitted a mere page and a half { not even 2 page } of a Doctors report on his health in 2008. Talk yer way out of that one. Just go ahead and try.
