I understand at this point: you can't make it clearer because there was no sense in adding it into the story to begin with.

Greeaat... Now we're going to get at least four hypocritical years of conservatives tossing around the race card after rightfully criticizing it for eight years. Why can't we all just grow up already?

I let Madonna's words be known, and pointed out the hypocrisy at the same time.

You understood my point, you just don't want to agree with it. Or at least, you don't want to admit it.

But in the end, you know I'm right.

Me personally? I'm glad I can criticize our president now without being branded a racist. But as long as the hypocrisy continues, I'm going to point it out.

Those on the left need to come to the realization that Obama was shielded from any disapproval while Trump will be ridiculed mercilessly; and to do so shows your true colors. And while it won't be acknowledged, it needs to be displayed because deep down, they know it's the truth. Deep down, theyre simply falling in line with their 'team', and that makes them weak.

I brought it up to make a point. If said point went over your head, I can't help you.

Nobody else seems to be confused, so it appears the common denominator is you.

I agreed with your statement that anyone who wants to blow up buildings ought to get a psych evaluation... generally, at least.

In the end, as your attempts to rationalize your odd use of the race card around this story become more and more incoherent, I've come to know how pointless it was to throw it out there in the first place.

It didn't go over my head. You inserted racism, in a place it didn't need to be inserted. So it appears you just wanted to troll or flamebait.

Oh that wacky Madonna.... A woman who's pushing 60 something and still thinking ifs cools to wear lingerie in public.. Oh well. On a scale of serious to laughable, her current invectives are continuously laughable. She did after all offer bjs to those whom she could persuade to not vote for Trump. And now, she's droning on and on about marginalized folks. Like her perhaps?

At some point, doesn't her wealth scream out to simply fade from public view and her kids needs become more important than her vanity? But then, it's self absorbed liberalism.

I suspect you DO know the point behind HTownMarine saying "...how racist would it be if Toby Keith had said something similar while Obama was in the White House? Super racist? Or just kind of racist?" but just to make it obvious, it's a reaction to eight years of any kind of criticism of Obama being dismissed as racist as a means of lazily shutting down the argument instead of actually arguing the point. We used to have a (thank God) former poster, *g*nt_286 and her millions of posts copied from Huffington Post who - well, it felt like every other post was her saying the right always disagrees with "The First Black Democrat." and the outright statement that anyone who disagreed with Obama did it purely and only because of racism, case closed. It got downright comical when she started calling him "The First Black Democrat".

So, if you're annoyed at what HTM did, consider it the chickens coming home to roost after eight years of having the mud thrown in the other direction.

Jesus Christ... We really are gonna have to listen to years of conservative hypocrites tossing around the race card now. zbr6 is the only one of you on this forum with any integrity, it seems.

Can you point to a post where you decried the race card being thrown about by liberals over the past eight years? If you can't, then the charge of hypocrisy is without merit as you would be holding one side to a set of standards differing from another.

You want me to dig through my archives just to prove to you what I already know? If you think you can dig up some evidence that I'm a hypocrite on this issue, go do the dirty work yourself before you make assumptions.

You won't, though; you know it's not worth the effort.

Or not racist at all. It would depend entirely on Toby Keith's motive for saying it.
He admits Madonna's stupid rant had nothing to do with racism. Yet he had to insert it into his OP. I understand fully what he was trying to accomplish. Mission fail.

I'm not annoyed in the least. I find it absolutely hilarious and it outs the partisan hacks who are trolls.

I have to admit that I'm enjoying sitting back and seeing Donald the Degenerate given a dose of what he dished out during the primaries (calling people all kinds of names, including descent God-fearing people like Ted Cruz a "liar").

No matter who the President of the United States is, threatening to cause harm to the President is grounds for federal prosecution: Class E felony under 18 U.S.C 871, punishable by up to 5 years of imprisonment.

I've been wondering if it's a crime to threaten to damage or destroy the White House. If it were, why hasn't she already been arrested?

The law that I linked in my earlier post talks about direct threats against the President. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/871

Maybe Madonna consulted with her lawyers beforehand and knew that the threat didn't fall under the above federal law? That being said: people are arrested all of the time for making threats against government buildings (IRS is the most common).

It's a crime to destroy anything that doesn't belong to you without permission.

Yeah, but, she didn't destroy the White House.

Yes, I see that there's this case:

    https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2015/04/28/arrest-miami-irs-office-bomb-threat

It's not exactly the same as Madonna's example because in the above think, the person makes a far more specific and direct statement that the building will be destroyed within a certain time frame. Madonna simply said she's been thinking about it.

I wonder what would happen if someone called a government building to say they were "thinking about" blowing it up. Would he or she be arrested?

You said "I've been wondering if it's a crime to threaten to damage or destroy the White House.

I answered to the damage question. How about this you call the WH and threaten them and see what happens. I'll guarantee you would be in the SS office explaining your call. Maddonna is a liberal and from what I've seen over the last 8 years libs think they can get away with anything.

Madonna is a model liberal. Makes you feel bad for criticizing Obama (calls you racist) and then as soon as the tables turn, she wants to blow up the white house.

Huh? It was all one question. There was no separate damage question. Okay, I'll write a little more concisely this time: I've been wondering if it's a crime to threaten to damage the White House or threaten to destroy the White House.

I hope that clears things up.

This is irrelevant. Madonna didn't call the White House, but I've heard the SS is investigating her right now. That, in itself, doesn't mean it's illegal.

You still haven't shown yet that she actually did anything illegal.

I don't know if she did.

Like Greg Gutfeld said, Madonna is always talking about blowing something. She's as naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasty a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) as Ashley Judd is. Judd really lost a ton of respect from me, I had no idea she was a loony, Johannsen, too. Worthless (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)es.

gee, sounds like Ted Nugent when he said "if Obama wins I will be dead or in jail" - when he made that threat the right wing said nothing - same when Creed singer Scott Stapp threatened Mr Obama's life

    double standards, much ??
