How does it put a dent in my theory? Democrat politicians don't just materialize out of nothingness. They are voted in by Democrats. Fascist-loving Democrats, it would appear.

The grand jury was in Fulton County, in which 5 of the 7 (71%) Board of Commissioners are Democrats; 6 out of the 7 (86%) Congressmen are Democrats, including two Democrat US Senators; 6 of 10 (60%) Georgia State Senators are Democrats; and 16 out of the 22 (73%) Georgia House of Representatives are Democrats. By the same token, Fulton County is a Democrat stronghold. You have to be severely stupid to think otherwise.

I don't think they're playing political games. They are just doing what they have always done. Investigate. But then don't follow up with prosecution. Until I see Biden getting prosecuted, it's all just empty talk from the GOP in Congress.

The same people who accused Trump of Russia collusion, quid pro quo, and inciting an insurrection are now prosecuting their election opponent, Biden's chief rival, while the campaign has started for the 2024 election has the distinguishing characteristic of fascism of trying to jail your political opponent, especially when the charges are stretches and half-baked.

If they are the majority, perhaps there is a problem with your model of the universe. Maybe, just maybe, TFG tried to do the Republic wrong.

You have to have a severe brain deficit to not realize it only takes 1 to hang a jury, and statistically, TFG is there. Historically, GA has been Red. Look at it brah. Maybe they couldn't provide TFG with 11k votes without committng an obvious crime.

The problem with your theory is that the charges aren't half baked. The documents case in particular shows that.

You're confusing trial juries with grand juries. With trial juries, generally speaking, it only takes one person for a jury to be a hung jury. On the other hand, at least in Georgia, with a grand jury, you just need a majority to indict:

"While a trial jury must reach a unanimous vote to convict, a grand jury only requires a majority vote of 12 or more to approve an indictment. Furthermore, only 16 of the 23 jurors have to be present. If they decide to approve the indictment, the words 'true bill' will be endorsed on it. If there is not enough evidence to support the indictment, they will endorse it “no bill,” and the case will not move forward, and the charges will be dismissed. In Georgia, about 90% of grand juries indict. Across the country, the average is 95%. Therefore, it is likely that there is an indictment when it goes before a grand jury."

So, clearly, you have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe "severe brain deficit"? This is why it is wise to do your research before making a statement that is easily refuted with a modicum of research. Considering Fulton County is a county in which 5 of the 7 (71%) Board of Commissioners are Democrats; 6 out of the 7 (86%) Congressmen are Democrats, including two Democrat US Senators; 6 of 10 (60%) Georgia State Senators are Democrats; and 16 out of the 22 (73%) Georgia House of Representatives are Democrats, it's no surprise that Trump was indicted.

Fulton County is a county. Georgia is a state. A county is not a state. Therefore, Fulton County is not Georgia. Fulton County is very, very blue. I hope you can grasp the rudimentary syllogism and basic facts of the matter.

I wasn't talking about Grand Juries, I was talking about TFG's trial jury. Clearly, you are deliberately misunderstanding what I'm saying. Further, TFG's misdeeds and adventures have nothing to do with Sallyally's joke. Or whether having different taste in humor from you makes someone despicable. That's where we started off before you went on this tangent.

Based on the percentages you provide there should be a republican or two on the trial jury, with 2 being more likely.

    This is in service of?

I knew you were going to argue that you were referring to trial juries, not grand juries, as a way to weasel your way out of the corner that you painted yourself into. Pure gaslighting. The problem is that you wrote this:

    Post 2752
    In response to this:

    Post 2751
Thus, the topic was about grand juries, not trial juries. Instead of being a bigger person, and writing, "Whoops, my bad," or just shut up, or change the subject, you decide to pretend that the conversation was about trial juries, not grand juries.

In fact, in post 2749, I wrote:
With that evidence provided proving that the topic was about grand juries, not trial juries, please provide your evidence that the discussion was about trial juries, not grand juries.

To which I say "So what?" It was obvious that I was talking about trial juries, but OK..

You're talking about a conspiracy involving grass roots Democrats in a political conspiracy against the highest office in the country. How are the jurors being kept quiet? Statistically there should have been 3 or 4 republicans there: how have they been shut up? Your idea is laughable on its face. Remember Mark Twain's saying "Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead."

Not really. The topic was about how Democrats are going into deep-blue areas of the country, so they can get an easy indictment. You also have been confusing a county, in this case, Fulton County, with the state of Georgia, pretending they are one in the same. They're not. It's somewhat like confusing a hand for the entire body or a pond in the backwoods of North Carolina for the Earth. If you were truly talking about trial juries, and not just speaking ignorantly, then it is simply baffling why you chose to respond to an argument about grand juries by randomly talking about trial juries. I mean, again, let's look at what you did:

You were responding to this post:

    Post 2751
    With this post:

    Post 2752
And when I inform you that you are confusing grand juries with trial juries, your response:

But why would you respond to my claim about grand juries by talking about trial juries? Why would you quote me, just to completely not respond to what you are quoting. It doesn't make sense. Your excuse doesn't hold water.

So the obvious solution is to do nothing and ignore the problem altogether. Got it.

I see that our friend @Hey Now liked this absolutely stunning post. Brief, yet explanatory. Simple, yet capturing the very essential nuance. Captivating, arresting, and certainly one that will go down in history as one of the best posts ever made on this forum. Nothing compares. Nothing will compare.

In tribute to Hey Now's taste in post quality:

Are you one of those "just do something" people? Do you support paper straws over plastic straws?
