I saw this slogan on a hat. Holy **** is this what’s next? I gotta move to Minnesota or something. I always liked cold weather. And that’s where Husker Du is from.
As people become increasingly unhappy with the govt, secession will proportionately increase in popularity. It shouldn't be a surprise. Our system is based on consent of the governed, and more and more people feel like their consent is no longer required. There, of course, always exist some degree of this in any govt. 'Good govt' seeks to minimize it. Ours doesn't appear interested in that.
Biden is trying to turn Texas into Northern Mexico, so I’m assuming the person wearing the hat was here illegally or a democrat.
I miss the days when lying wasn’t an issue. When the Republican would just straight up admit “yep I want unchecked capitalism. **** everyone else” but now they’re too much in the minority I guess. We gotta play these games.
Suddenly you don't support the right of the people to express themselves? I heard there's a lot of localized warming in the twin cities over the last year, all those arson fires and all....
I’m white so I can call other white people rednecks then lol no it’s not like the n word. No one was ever a slave and called a redneck.
You know there were white irish slaves who worked fields and would get a terrible sun burn on their backs and necks...... right?
No. The opposite is true. The internet has empowered people to type stuff they’d wouldn’t express face to face. We’re all trying to come to terms how trashy our neighbors have been all along.
Ever hear of Operation Wetback? The wet backs wanted their wet backs to return home so they could do some wet backing there. And your excuse doesn’t hold up. Blacks use the N word, in case you didn’t know it’s a term of affection and endearment, but not when whites use it. So pick a standard and stick with it, you can’t have both. Operation Wetback was an immigration law enforcement initiative created by Joseph Swing, the Director of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), in cooperation with the Mexican government. The program was implemented in June 1954 by U.S. Attorney General Herbert Brownell.[1] The short-lived operation used military-style tactics to remove Mexican immigrants—some of them American citizens—from the United States. Though millions of Mexicans had legally entered the country through joint immigration programs in the first half of the 20th century, Operation Wetback was designed to send them back to Mexico.[2] The program became a contentious issue in Mexico–United States relations, even though it originated from a request by the Mexican government to stop the illegal entry of Mexican laborers into the United States. Legal entry of Mexican workers for employment was at the time controlled by the Bracero program, established during World War II by an agreement between the U.S. and Mexican governments. Operation Wetback was primarily a response to pressure from a broad coalition of farmers and business interests concerned with the effects of Mexican immigrants living in the United States without legal permission.[3] Upon implementation, Operation Wetback gave rise to arrests and deportations by the U.S. Border Patrol.[4][5] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetback
I’m Italian, it’s almost guaranteed I have black blood in me. Can I say the N word? How about if simply identify as black, that sort of thing seems to work well with lefties.
It’s a minority of frightened extremists doing their best to hold onto to an imperfect union rather than strive for more perfect one. Hang in there they’re heading toward an inevitable fall. They’re simply too nutty for the majority.
