I have tried to understand why the left has embraced Muslims so much that they are unwilling to put a temporary stop of just a couple months from countries that only have about 15% of the Muslim population. I tried to understand why they are so critical of Israel when all they are trying to do is survive while being surrounded by hostile nations. There are plenty of other peoples in even worse condition than Arab muslims, but they don't seem to care so much about them. Their zealotry is in this regard is so over the top it's not possible that they care oh so much for these people, it has to be something else. The only thing I can come up with is the left hates Jews. Bringing in a Jew hating people is just the start.

It's not just the fundamentalists, antisemitism is prevalent throughout the Muslim community. I worked with an Algerian, not religious at all. He once told me how much he despises Saudi Arabia for financing terrorism in his country. But when I mentioned Israel, he hated them just as much. The question is, why is the left so antisemitic?

According to the OP/story, she did. But didn't do it with the dignity of visiting and meeting another.
She decided not to wear the burka, which then meant she was not allowed to meet. But did so anyways.

And the other poster said any group that forces women to wear something they don't want to are oppressing women.
I bet there have been a few women who wanted to be nuns and didn't want to wear the habit but did so for bigger reasons, and maybe some decided not to become a nun because of wearing a habit.

And as others have said, in Lebanon, women aren't forced to wear any head gear if they choose not to.

I said that Islam should reform, we should place a Muslim ban until they do, and if they don't reform we will have 2 options. 1 is convert and 2 is go to war. Now a war in the ME where nukes are used would be the absolute last resort if we choose not to convert. If nukes will not reduce coalition casualties, then we shouldn't use them.

I think you prefer the conversion option.

Here is a recap, you claim you have many lebonese friends and dated some. You claim that islam needs to change, if they can't, we should nuke them. You're wanting to nuke your friends and exgirlfriends. Those stats don't add up.
