Marjorie Taylor Greene offers bills to fire Fauci, ban vaccine passports

Greene clearly doesn't mind having her name associated with bold acts that stir people up. Here, in her latest endeavor, she introduces a bill to oust Fauci. He is not the most popular guy for some of his decisions throughout the pandemic but he's been around for a long, long time through several Administrations. Stripped of her committees a few months ago, Greene is probably just bored. Who said politics was boring?

She really has zero idea how government works and is completely uninterested in even attempting to learn. She exists solely to obstruct, pander to her no education base and make a fool out of this nation.

Fauci is the highest paid federal government employee in the history of government makeshift jobs. He needs to get a real job and stop living off the tax payer's dime.

 

I love that 400k is too much to the right for a highly credentialed epidemiologist and infectious disease expert with over 45 honorary degrees and is also one of the most cited experts in the field of immunology but man with a loose grasp of ninth grade reading and comprehension spending 35 million in golf per year — well, that’s just dandy.

 

But did he graduate from the prestigious and world renown Trump university?

 

“Americans deserve better than a self-promoting career bureaucrat like Fauci, who spent the last year getting it wrong almost all of the time,” Greene said.

Greene’s Fire Fauci Act would remove the annual salary of the soothsaying doom prophet, which stands at $434,312. He is the highest paid bureaucrat in the entire federal swamp. Her legislation would freeze those funds until a replacement for Fauci is found. The legislation would also mandate a full audit of Fauci’s office.

“Dr. Anthony Fauci has continually failed to provide Americans with accurate information about the COVID-19 pandemic and has shown distrust in the American private sector and American ingenuity,” the bill states.

Greene’s We Will Not Comply Act would deny federal funds for any business or school pushing mask or vaccine mandates. This would drive a stake through the Orwellian and anti-American push for vaccine passports being normalized for participation in public life.

It’s time for Dr. Fauci to go. He’s been wrong about almost everything so far regarding China virus. He’s grossly overpaid. The rebellion against lockdowns and mask mandates is going strong and now is the time to make sure we don’t cooperate in any vaccine passport. A great proposal by Rep. Greene.

Maybe you do not have kids and never went to public school yourself, but students have always had to show a vaccine passport to be able to attend school. They used to call it a shot record, but I guess that did not sound scary enough for you Qwingers.

Those of us who have travelled outside of the US always had to have the same vaccine passport along with our other passport to travel to most countries.

As for Fauci it would violate Fed law for Congress to do such a thing. Not that you folks give a ****

I think firing Fauci makes sense. I think Covid passports make no sense at all. She is controversial but I would agree with what she is doing with her spare time makes sense to me. There are some nutjobs in congress. We should mostly consider them good entertainment and move on.

 

Trump talked about firing Fauci after the election. For whatever reasons he didn't or wasn't able to. I doubt that Biden will do it. That's even more unlikely to happen based on Greene's efforts in that regard. For all intents and purposes, it looks like he is untouchable.

 

A government that acts illegally, bureaucrats that act illegally SHOULD be obstructed.

As James Madison noted a long time ago, in truth all men holding power OUGHT to be mistrusted.

Greene probably knows her bill won't prevail, but at least she's making the effort. Good on her!

 

I see no reason to fire Fauci, and Greene shouldn't be allowed to handle scissors, but why do passports make no sense? If you owned the local theater and needed to fill it to survive, how would you guarantee everyone who enters has been vaccinated? If you choose to provide no guarantee, and you have competition that does, do you see that as a disadvantage? If you have no competition, do you think you can pack the seats?

Of course, a small country theater is quite different than Dodger Stadium, but the private sector is involved in this initiative because it's what they want. These passports are pro-business. (And the economy added 900,000+ jobs last month. Things are looking up.)

 

I think she sounds like a Republican choice for running in 2024

No. In fact, as someone who is vaccinated, I would refuse to use the passport. I value my freedom.

I don't think movie theaters have been packing the seats in a very long time but I have no way to guess an answer to what you ask.

They are pro-business. They are anti-freedom.
