But the very nature of todays tyranny is in the Presidents perversion of those checks and balances coupled with Congress's refusal to obey the law. It is illegal to not pass a budget, not optional. It is illegal to make recess appointments when the Senate is in session. It is illegal to not enforce laws passed by Congress, etc, etc....

What value are checks and balances if they are ignored.
