I just think that it is utterly ridiculous to maintain that stone age, hunter-gatherer sub-Saharan Africa of a few centuries ago is better than the turbulent, violent, albeit quasi-modern of today. Do you maintain that the sub-Saharan Africa of today is worse off, overall, than the pre-contact-with-whites sub-Saharan Africa?
