What is wrong with you is that it is clear you were mistaken yet you do everything you can to ignore the last relevant post, change the details of the issue so you can find another more profitable one, change other peoples posts, and refuse to take responsibility for what you said and did. Well if you guys can convince all the criminals to 100% disarm themselves I'm sure that many lawful gun owners would then considered giving up their lawfully owned guns.

I'm not saying that lawful owners should give up their guns. Who actually is a lawful owner, must only be rigorously checked. You can basically lend your AK to a neighbor as if it's a lawnmower without any need check out if that guy is psychotic terrorist. You just need to have your thoughts and prayers ready. The current gun laws are really just a total joke and for no real reason besides the right wing conspiracy idea of the "government is watching" you keeps it like that.

While it's totally accepted that you must have a drivers license provided by the government, who casually also knows what car you own. And people are happy that a stolen car, with an easy license plate check, is returned to the owner. None of that matters for a device made to murder. A young child may not even drive for obvious reasons, but they can get a device made to murder for Christmas. Psycho uncle Bob can come over, and lend it.

Convincing your cowardly police force to disarm criminals would be a good start.
They don't even seem able to disarm active shooters.
Whether they are cowering in the stairwells of Las Vegas hotels or awaiting orders at a Texan school.
It seems unrealistic to expect them to disarm themselves.

 

As soon as you resort to such ridiculous and falsely hysterical BS like a "device made to murder"...... You completely discredit yourself and expose your complete lack of knowledge on the topic.

This will never stop until Americans work up the bravery to make meaningful changes to gun laws nationwide and do something about the horrifically outdated Second Amendment.

 

First you have to convince lots of people that the duly elected government isn't going to destroy the republic and cancel elections, and that if someone did, that their little arsenals would be no match against the US military, sworn to protect the elected government, no matter what it did.
Now that would make an interesting novel.

 

This is just an excuse to not respond to how lawful gunowners are not protected against a person just handing over a weapon to a psychotic so the lawful gunowner gets murdered / an attempt of being murdered.


I'm curious.
Do you put your trust into thought and prayers to not be shot at like that, or are you looking over your shoulder ever couple of seconds to be sure not to be the next victim.... or have you found a good combination between the 2. Do tell.

The US military is part of the citizenry, there would be defectors in the case of a necessary uprising. The army wouldn’t be the only ones with a big arsenal.
