Breaking: Latest Sanctuary State declares, "Furriners git out!"

Massachusetts calls up national guard to cope with migrants as protests rage

Massachusetts officials overwhelmed by arriving migrants have activated the national guard as they scramble for more housing, while aid groups say they have been pushed to the limit and protests abound.

Gov. Maura Healey mobilized 250 members of the Massachusetts National Guard on Thursday to help transport the latest wave of asylum seekers to shelters across the state.

But much like the crisis overtaking the Big Apple, Massachusetts has nowhere near enough housing or resources currently available to accommodate the influx.

“Right now, the non-profits that are in Massachusetts are stretched and so thin they cannot provide anymore staff,” state Sen. Jamie Eldridge told CBS News.

While the National Guard can help with the lack of manpower, the state can do little to address the shortage of housing outside of creating new shelters, which local residents vehemently oppose.

As it turned out, shipping illegals to blue cities and states turned out to be a masterstroke political strategy. It put their hypocrisy on full display, most importantly to themselves/

Montpelier, VT isn't far from MA, just 2.5 hours. It's a supportive sanctuary city and drastically in need of diversity (92% white with only 2% being hispanic is a ridiculous disparity.) Burlington VT needs some diversity as well and has a welcoming sancuary attitude .

MA should expect them to help.

It's like "kids in cages." It's different when Democrats do it.

Yah...Democrats doing it now were shouting how inhumane it was when it first started. And now they say it's a humanitarian move. Ha!

I notice that the cities most embracing of migrants are cities that are far north and which have very little diversity.

What a great job these Red Border States finally did to expose their hypocracy. After refusing to listen to the tremendous human toll these Red States were being subjected to by their destructive border policies, all it took was shipping a tiny fraction of what they have been dealing with to these "sanctuaries" and they promptly collapsed.

They Welcomed Illegal Immigrants With Open Arms, Now Sanctuary Cities Say They're Past 'Breaking Point'

'So it was literal virtue signaling all along...'

    Just as we suspected.

'Mayors from New York, Chicago, and other large cities are struggling with resources, blaming Texas, as illegal immigrants move in en masse.'

As if it never enters their minds: "Gee, why is Texas teeming with all these service demanding illegals, and if we can't handle this small fraction, how in the hell have they been managing for nearly 3 years?

'Prior to being elected mayor of New York City in 2021, Eric Adams' campaign posted on Twitter, now known as X, "We should protect our immigrants. Period. Yes, New York City will remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration."'

'Less than two years later, now-mayor Adams is suggesting the influx of illegal immigrants will "destroy New York City."'

"Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don't see an ending to this. … This issue will destroy New York City," Mr. Adams said on Sep. 6, during a town hall meeting on the Upper West Side. "We're getting 10,000 migrants a month."

133,000/mo were 'encountered' by the Border Patrol, every single month of 2021, and that doesn't count all the ones that slipped through 'unencountered".

'The cities Mr. Abbott chose as his busing program recipients are among the 10 "largest sanctuary cities in the United States," according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).'

They chose to be Sanctuary Cities, of their own free will. Abbott is simply sending them the folks they proudly proclaimed that they would give sanctuary to, if only they showed up.
