Michele Bachmann compares Obama to the pilot who downed the plane

Really? Frankly, I think BACHMANN is deranged. Not only is she a consummate (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), apparently, if you read down it appears to be pretty it's unanimous, everyone thinks SHE'S NUTS!!!

Gone but not forgotten ex-Congresswoman Michele Bachmann took to her Facebook page on Tuesday and compared President Barack Obama to Andreas Lubitz, the pilot who downed the Germanwings airliner in the French Alps last week.

The ex-congresswoman, who chose to not run for reelection in 2014 after eight years in Congress, made the comparison while criticizing the Obama administration’s efforts to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran.

“With his Iran deal, Barack Obama is for the 300 million souls of the United States what Andreas Lubitz was for the 150 souls on the German Wings flight – a deranged pilot flying his entire nation into the rocks,” Bachmann wrote. “After the fact, among the smoldering remains of American cities, the shocked survivors will ask, why did he do it?”

Bachmann, who has been a target of ridicule for years over her outlandish statements while a government official, received much the same treatment now that she is a private citizen posting on her public Facebook page.

Longtime opponent, Wayne Bessen from Truth Wins Out, wrote: “I’m worried. If any person is an expert on deranged it is Michele Bachmann.”

Other commenters chastised the former lawmaker for her ham-handed attempt to tie the tragedy to a policy dispute.

It is a good analogy. I don't see the problem. Obama is riding this country right into the dirt, even trying to cozy up to our greatest enemies.

 

I did that the first day on Twitter. Then I saw a political cartoon a day later. Everyone steals my ideas.

I'd trust her to be president before Hillary.

 

I think that's a pretty stupid comparison and is an insult to the families of those who died on that flight.

 

One would hope people understand that mere association with this woman means lowered respect, instantly.

You have the ayatollah saying "death to america" and an Iranian general saying "the destruction of Israel is non negotiable" and Obama is still desperate to give Iran a deal (and nukes) no matter what.

Do you realize the insanity and repercussions that could/would follow? 149 dead on a plane wouldn't hold a candle to the hell that would follow for millions so I'd say Bachman was being kind and reserved.

Again, tell is the what you're so outraged over? With logic this time please.

Indeed. The analogy is better if you consider that Lubitz, the co-pilot, corresponds to the right-wingers in government- they have been trying to bring the country down because they can't get their way.
