Please point out where in the scripture it says that abortion is murder, or humans are persons from conception.

How do you know that God is not pro-choice?

    OMgosh….again? Are you serious?

    A quick case….

Humans are created in the image of God. So that which is in the womb is human….although small it is in Gods image. God creates all things…so that which is in the womb is Gods. Those who are born are Gods. All humans are in Gods image and belong to God because He is the creator.

    Genesis 9:6
    Whoever sheds man’s blood,
    by man shall his blood be shed;
for in the image of God
    He made man.

Killing unborn children is an attack not only on them but on God.

    The sixth commandment forbids killing.

"God created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27).

God told man to be fruitful and multiply…not kill that which was conceived.

"Be fertile and multiply" (Genesis 1:28) So Eve said, " "I have brought forth a man with the help of the Lord" (Genesis 4:1). It was not just an action she did…but only could do with Gods help….this entire subject is under Gods dominion and it is nothing short of sin when the life in the womb is taken.

Amos condemns the Ammonites "because they ripped open expectant mothers in Gilead" (Amos 1:13).

"Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward" (Psalm 127:3). The fruit is the child…and God loves children….they are a blessing not a curse. In fact He knew us before we were in the womb.

"You knit me in my mother’s womb . . . nor was my frame unknown to you when I was made in secret" (Psalm 139:13,15). God has his fingerprints all over this. "You have been my guide since I was first formed . . . from my mother’s womb you are my God" (Psalm 22:10-11). "God… from my mother’s womb had set me apart and called me through his grace" (Galatians 1:15).

Abortion is killing living human children that God created. It is destruction of something so precious in His site and He will judge those who have a hand in it.

"Trample my courts no more! Bring no more worthless offerings…Your festivals I detest…When you spread out your hands, I close my eyes to you; though you pray the more, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood! Wash yourselves clean…learn to do good. Make justice your aim: redress the wronged, hear the orphan’s plea, defend the widow" (Isaiah 1:13-17).

Abortion is death to innocent human beings. Christ came to conquer death and abortion. "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).

"At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. (NIV, Luke 1:39-44)"

I will say to God: ... "Your hands shaped me and made me. Will you now turn and destroy me? Remember that you molded me like clay. Will you now turn me to dust again? (NIV, Job 10:2, 8-9)

"And if men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him; and he shall pay as the judges decide. "But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, (NAS, Exodus 21:22-24)

"Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea." Matthew 18:1

1 Corinthians 6:19 says, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;"

This says it all. Even that which is in the womb, Gods creation the very thing he calls a blessing, is a temple for the Holy Spirit. Who has the right to destroy unborn children?
