Hello everyone. I somehow stumbled onto this website looking for a site to vent my anger about political deviseivness. But now I am here reading everyone's postings I see I'm not alone no matter what side of the aisle your on. I vote republican. I am a moderate, I see myself in the middle, but am suspicious of all politicians. The Constitution of the United States of American should never change. I only Trust myself. I was born in Virginia, raised in Ohio and now living in (Uuuuugggh) Socialist/Communist California U.S.A. I like, Golf, Baseball, Football, Auto racing and Footy. My favorite T.V. to watch is; History Channel. Comedy. Science channel. (How the Universe Works is AWSOME !) and yes, Chopped on the Food Network. THANK YOU to whom ever created this Political forum website. It actually makes me feel less angry because I am done with T.V. Media. Here I can talk to REAL PEOPLE. Thanks again; mirimark (certified electrician and certified horriable speller.)
Hey bud, much like you. Independent with right wing leanings. Lived in Cali for a year. Was the literal worst place I've ever lived, and I've lived in Iowa, Colorado, Cali, Tennessee, and Georgia. I've been here about a month. It's just as frustrating as everywhere else on the internet, but people at least seem to be a little more creative in some circles with their partisan nonsense.
Hi! I'm glad that other people see divisiveness as the primary problem, and as a bipartisan one. Gives me hope. Welcome to the forum.
I was done with TV media yonks ago (hello, YouTube!) You're upset about being in California? Look on the bright side - your climate is no doubt fantastic, and you have all that wonderful coastline available to go visit. I'm in an area that's frozen for at least half the year and is full of nasty little mosquitoes for most of the rest of that.
At least I live in Northern Cali. I'm in Butte County. Its Trump country up here. But the rest of the state is really anti-American Constitution.
Touche ! Touche ! Well met. I just can't bring myself to think progressive because they seem violent to me. However, I do see your point.
Those brats at Berkeley sure are. I don't think they really qualify as progressive, except in some twisted Bolshevik sense
I'm sure San Andreas will let a big one rip sooner or later.. "Whatever the natural cause of earthquakes might be, sin is the moral cause. "- John Wesley 1703-91
Sounds like home, then, especially if it's also full of mosquitoes in the summer. Scotland no doubt has an advantage where scenery is concerned, though!
