    I was starting to think this thread was getting off track, just a little, and maybe because of me ...

    I was curious to know why Mak hadn't come along with her big pair of virtual scissors!

    but then I looked at the title, Mister Magoo's Moan.

    Well Magoo Moans about a lot of things (eg Hip Hop) so I suppose this thread could lead virtually anywhere. :twisted:

    Sometime I compare a particular culture or part of society to a football team.
    That football team is down the bottom of the table.
    How do we get them to be more competitive?
    They seem to play with no heart....no leader....no spirit....
    How do you inject that into a team?
    Do any of the players have any ability?
    Yes, but they dont show it often enough...they try for a bit, then when the
    other team sledges them, they go into their shells...the other team scores
    a try or two...and you can visibly see them starting to give up...hands on their hips...the heads go down...
    The captain tries to rally the troops but to no avail...
    What do you do?
    Buy more players...better players...
    No-one wants to play on this team...they always get beat...they have learnt ways of getting beat....
    Do you get a new coach...or maybe a new manager....obviously the current
    coach is not getting the best out of them....
    Maybe he's been around too long...maybe theyre sick of his voice.....
    Do you pay them more...do you introduce an incentive scheme...Its all been tried
    before...maybe theyre just not fit enough...physically or mentally...

    Maybe they just dont want to play anymore....

    Maybe they never did want to play....

    Maybe the game is just too hard....

    Maybe the competition is just too hard....

    Maybe theyre just tired of competing...

    Maybe they just want to go home.....

    Where is home?????????????????????

    Sounds like your talking about my FOOTBALL team lol

    But good point,

    I personally do not support a party, I do not believe we should make our representatives vote not for what they believe, after all when the do it they call it a "conscience vote" What the hell do they vote otherwise, against their conscience?

    I vote for those with conscience and passion, they are usually independents.
