this is why I tell teens and young adults today, never put anything online, because it never goes away, and you'll be the biggest hypocrite some day... ta-da! not to mention when their future kids google their names when they become teenagers, imagine the things they will find out their parents did back in their day... yikes! P.S. and don't forget your potential employers scour the net for things too now, I've turned down many applicants who post boozing party pictures, because if I can find that stuff about you, I guarantee my customers can find it out about you... especially the idiots who post pictures of them doing drugs, what a dumb thing to post online...
Mitt will come off as a total jackass for praising Trump when he needed him and then dump on him when he doesn't. I think Mitt is pulling a Rubio and must of forgot that the internet remembers everything.
Good reminder thanks. My daughter is less than 2 years away from graduation and entry into the health care field. I've tried to keep an eye on her FB/etc and she's a great kid getting straight As but you never know. Plan on spending a few hundred bucks to hire an expert and scour her imprint.
If he does flip flop on The Donald (and I completely expect him to do so,) don't you think that is just how Trump will address it? He's already called Romney a loser. I'm not even sure why Mitt is involving himself in this election whatsoever. If he supports Trump, he's working against the establishment that ensured his own nomination. If he bashes Trump, he looks like the flip flopper he was accused of being. That won't help the candidate he supports, if it's not Trump. Him making a speech is a lose/lose situation. Who told Mittens this was a good idea?
have her set it to completely private now... no public anything, and remind her that her profile picture can always be seen even if private, so make it a nice professional head shot and save the drunk pictures for her timeline lol... and personally I'd say its better if she doesn't have it at all, because her name will show up on her friends pages which might not be private, as well as pictures she gets tagged in, which she might forget to say only friends can see or not to tag her... google still finds it... and now with facial recognition software getting into the next generation, she won't need to be tagged in photos, the software will find it... one of the companies we hire for these in depth online searches is actually rolling that software out, so they can troll through the thousands of "images" that will pop up on a google search of that persons name and actually identify with scaring accuracy which ones are that person... normally you're flooded with tons of photos not related to your name, but their software makes it remarkably easy to weed those out and show us a list of hundreds of photos of that person... often not posted by them, but by friends connected to them... P.S. just google your name once, odds are you'll find a website that shows who you are, your address, basic info like that, and links you to people (your kids for example) who you might be related to or live in your household... now amplify that to a new level where it does that with facebook and all other social media websites the kids use, and it scours through all those and finds photos from friends of friends of friends who she probably has no idea who they are, but she got connected to them as a result of the analytics and these companies are able to as a result find pictures of her using their facial recognition software... now they can find pictures taken by like say the night club she went to and posed for outside like many of the kids like to do... its just scary how accurate some of them are... heck their even have software to tell me how likely you are to be a republican or democrat, that one fascinated me the most and the depth in which they went to determine that based on "likes" and other things... its accurate too heh... P.S.S. and even if she sets it private today or deletes it entirely... the internet archives like the wayback machine can host old copies that will never disappear and are included in searches places like the company we hire does... so some things will be already too late if they made it into those caching servers, but she can prevent future events from making it...
