I disagree. Portland has essentially given sanctuary status to violent protesters. Just like refusing to enforce immigration law, elected officials refuse to enforce constitutional requirements for lawful assembly. Mayors are elected, and so the public ultimately grants the right to riot. I did say "those with permits" and "take turns" which is in compliance with lawful assembly laws. Violence will continue until residents put an end to it. Voters always get the policies they deserve. It's not a partisan perspective either. Drain the swamp. Uphold the constitution, or live with the consequences. It's every persons choice.

 

Which shouldn't be necessary at all ... which is the point in all my replies. See if you can spot all the references to wilful defiance, and non enforcement of laws that govern lawful assembly.

When they can't attack conservatives, they attack the police like in Portland or at the Charlottesville anniversary event.

We're done with it. If you attack us for holding a march, or assembling, or just walking down the street, we know what to expect now from you.

If attacked, we will defend ourselves in whatever way is necessary, and we will win.

If we need to keep curb stomping these cowardly little limp-wristed hyenas on a day to day basis, that's what's going to happen.

If they come with weapons, we will drop them in whatever way is necessary to defend ourselves.

Well, to be sure I didn't agree with everything(certainly, not the racism) but I look at politics from the same spiritual-ethos perspective(to him, he viewed politics as a spiritual gathering, rather than as something meagerly for deals and the likes. That's why towards the end of his regime he was like 'You all can play your politics'.) From that spiritual-ethos perspective, the United States of America should be a one-party State.
