Questions you can't answer are not attacks....immature, insecure people see everything as an attack.

Normal people recognize fables when they see them.

People who's Faith is fragile will say and do just about anything to convince other's and even themselves that what they believe in is real.

I personally wish them luck but I do not have such childish needs nor am I so naive.

Your answers so far have been nothing but insults and calling people angry...
As far as insults your posts are usually nothing but one line insults ...and I'm NOT your "pal".

Last point first. Stop projecting first of all.

    Your questions?
God is everywhere. Especially among the Godless. And those who are Godless and those who are not will make money form this film. God can use evil for good. Got me PAL?

It is in the very nature of a Religious Zealot to get angry at every presentation of facts and realities if they might some how contradict what is written in the Bible.

The real joke here is the more a person is educated to knowing just HOW the Bible was created and is able to tell such Zealots just a bit of this reality the more such Zealots will hunker down and dig in for a long protracted fight.

What does it say about such people that fear the facts?

It seems to be the very nature of you and your group to deflect and project in between your lies and rage. You're ignorant enough to think I am a 'zealot' because I agree with the Bible and disagree with you? Where have I said that you or the other instigators had to agree with me or think like me? That is what a zealot does. Do as you wish and I will do likewise. Pouting and lying because I won't play your game seems like a weak ploy. And for every 'fact' that you and your group have posted, I have responded with rebuttal. So please stop crying, erecting straw men and stomping your feet because I don't respond as you would like. Grow up.

it seems your upset cause you think people are cherry picking the bad stuff out of the bible, what you should really be asking your self is why is the bad stuff in the bible in the first place... as it's unGod-like behavior that we would not expect from a God

is your God capable of both good and evil? if that is what you think, then just say so...

If people want God, which of the thousands should they choose? I reckon they could do worse than Om.

The Great God Om is an omnipotent, omnipresent (only within the boundaries of the Omnian church) god in the country of Omnia. His temple is situated in Kom, presumably the capital, and his followers are known as Omnians. Unlike the major gods, who exist within a pantheon, Om is a monotheistic deity whose followers insist that he is the one and only true God. Despite all evidence to the contrary, Omnians also insisted, up until a hundred years ago, that the world is a sphere. Omnianism is the most oft-mentioned religion on Discworld.

    Of course it does.

Faith REQUIRES belief in the supernatural - an alternate dimensional, immeasurable, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent creator of this 13.8 billion year old universe we, his supposed creations, live in (rather spacious abode, wot?). Furthermore the descriptions of this supernatural being's power, motive, intent, actions, punishments, rewards, demands and other assorted "miracles" were written by primitive and profoundly ignorant people. Today, willfullly rejecting irrefutable scientific knowledge on no other basis than faith in those writings of long ago and far away is to me an impossible standard.

Not necessary as there is no argument you solved that problem by pointing out that god will not send you to hell if you don't believe in him!!

As you pointed out there is nothing to be saved from as the bible doesn't say you will go to hell for not believing in god!!

Not quite I just had to pick myself up form the floor as I've been laughing so hard!!! You are entertaining!

Correct ... it is obvious that the bible does not say you will go to hell if you don't believe in god, ... so there is nothing to be saved from. Thank you for setting us all straight!

I'm here sonny ... I've finally regained my composure from the hysterical last post that you provided us with. By all means please continue to inform us that the bible does not say you will go to hell if you don't believe in god. You are making it easier and easier to not be a christian as you have so eloquently pointed out to all of us that there is nothing to be saved from!!!

Your taking on taikoo!? ... Oh this should be big fun! By all means please continue!!!!!

Not really. And I'm a Christian, mate. Noah, from what I've heard, is more about global warming and conservationism than the Bible - odd, but I still want to see it. Kind of think Emma Watson is a cutie.

Exodus - not sure on, haven't read much about that movie yet, but oddly enough the old movie The Ten Commandments (a classic no matter what anyone says) was probably more about the Cold War than about the Bible. Go back and read between the lines, mate, especially in the opening.

That other movie of Mark Burnett I haven't heard much about, apart from his explanations.

Fortunately those advocating belief in the Great Flood don't believe it meets the parameters you'd establish for it.

You do yourself a disservice making such statements about me.

To my knowledge and I am more than thankful for any member to show me....I have NEVER posted a false statement on this forum knowingly and ANYONE who has brought to my attention a post I made that was not a fact...I have re-posted the correct facts...apologized....and admitted my mistake.

Now...you have said in the above post I am..." Pouting and lying"...end quote iamkurtz.

Now...I take exception to your words and I would like you to show me exactly WHERE and WHAT WORDS I am LYING....as you say. As far as pouting I do have lush lips so Sky is always trying to get me to do silly things like that....what can one do?

    So...either put up....or apologize.

I have told no lies and have no rage. As I told you I'm not angry I am entertained by you ... why would I be angry when I find you funny?

You behave as a zealot by lashing out when people disagree with you. By calling folks names such as " pal ", " kid ", " officer ", "goodboy " it is you acting like a zealot that is the real confusion here.

I made a simple observation in the beginning of this thread and it was you who used the snide remark that I should "deal with it" referring to your disagreement with my opinion. This was a clear indication to me that you wanted to take this to an other than civil discussion. Now you are upset that I have accommodated you.

As I have pointed out it is you who instigated this with me. And as I don't know you how could I like or dislike you? We have only interacted on this forum and so far I find you quite amusing .. liking or disliking you isn't even a consideration for me.

I am neither pouting nor lying and this is your game, it is you who have set the tone here not me!

I am well aware that you have rebutted the statement that god will send you to hell if you don't believe in him. You have made it perfectly clear that this is not true.

We are all much better informed concerning this misconception since you have cleared it up for us.

Your point is well taken ... We will not go to hell if we don't believe in your god of the bible. Thank you for clearing that up now that I know there is nothing to be saved from I don't have to worry about being saved!!!

Please stop crying, erecting straw men and stomping your feet because I don't respond as you would like. Grow up.

Beats me. You and your buddies are losing it over this. And the denial is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Maybe you and the guys can get a group rate at the local psyche ward. There is definitely something wrong with you people. Let it go. Move on.

Ah the smugness of a poster who calls himself AboveAlpha. Get over yourself. Get past this petty war you and your cronies are waging and stop whining. I've correctly called you and yours for what you are. Maybe this is a first. Maybe no one had ever put you in your place. Let this be a lesson.

Well...there was a localized flood back in 5700 BC when the Mediterranean sea flooded into the fresh water Black Sea basin....and this was in the same area depicted by the Bible but it certainly was NOT a worldwide flood as such a thing is impossible....but for people living in that area it would have seemed to be.

The whole 2 of animal thing is idiocy and is impossible as well but that doesn't mean some guy named Noah didn't have a trading boat swept up in the flood that had animals aboard.

Any Worldwide Flood covering all land masses would mean the total extinction of all life on Earth.

To do this sea level would to have increases by about 5.5 miles to cover all land masses and as we who are good at Geometry and Physics and Cosmology KNOW....the circumference of the Earth would increase exponentially as water was deposited raising sea levels higher and higher and eventually that added mass to the Earth would change the Gravitational constant so that everything would increase in weight by 7% to 9%....thus compressing the atmosphere to a soupy consistency of dense air.

But the worse things would be that the Earth's added mass would be enough for the Earth to break out of it's Solar Orbit along with the Moon which would eventually spiral down to slam into the Earth's surface and then in deep space the Planet would eventually freeze solid.

You have just insulted me again and now you want me to let it go, move on... OK i will.

I will move on with the full new knowledge that you have so graciously imparted to us all. I will spread the good news that you have bestowed and I promise that I will give you full credit for this revelation.

Attention fellow forum members who do not believe in the christian god........

iamkurtz has just informed me that we will not go to hell for not believing in god. He has been so kind as to point out to me that this fallacy is not in the bible!! You don't need to be saved as there is nothing to be saved from.

Letting it go and moving on!!!!!!!!!

I'm loathe to 'abuse' kids. But you all need a dose of corporal punishment. if this 'taikool' character is your hero, you guys need better role models. Kids are easily impressed.
