Money floods into government, the corrupt ruling political class and its cronies.
The yellow trickle drips onto ordinary human beings.

Taxes taken to provide essential/Constitutional services are NOT theft, they’re the cost of Democracy. Taxes taken to teach gender indentity in Pakistan, or about 70% of the spending in Biden’s trillion dollar porker are theft.

    Excellent chart.
This one compares percentage of total income to percentage of tax paid. Not surprisingly, Top earner pay disproportionately.

No, the old "some people have more opportunity than others and need to pay for it" accusation. What's new? Note, you completely ignored my point that everybody benefits from the services government offers and each has the same opportunity provided by such. That's an inconvenient truth, so you ignore it.

Strong property rights benefit property owners. Some are haves, some are havenots. The problem is, you want to assume that the haves are the haves because they have property rights. That's where you're wrong.

You're a class warrior, so all you are able to surmise is that government policy made somebody rich, or at a minimum allows them to gain more wealth. As such, the wealth should pay for the government that supports their wealth.

That simply isn't how it works. 70% of all millionaires are first generation that came from non-millionaire upbringing. Government didn't make them wealthy, they did.

The class warriors can't get past that concept.

I don't even know what this means. Of course "rights" are inherent or converse to control and thus government has that authority.

That "bottom 50%" at 2.4% of all taxes paid says it all.

At what point is it "their fair share"?

Ahhh, so people are held down because the "trickle" isn't enough. They are entitled to more.

You know what. I feel the same way!

I had 4 consecutive years in a row at a busy firm in which I received very little compensation increases. The owner was buying a yacht. So what did I do? I started my own firm, second mortgaged my house, worked 16 hour days, and now I am my old firms #1 competition and I am taking the business I was earning for them. Ahhh... capitalism, isn't it grand.

The whole "they are responsible for the wealth generation". No they aren't. They wouldn't have any ability to generate the wealth if they weren't given the mechanism to do their job. What you ignore here is risk.

Employees have zero risk. They are paid for their time, and if they are unable to be paid they are let go. They didn't put up their own money, they didn't risk their wealth, they didn't gamble.

What you want, is you want people to reap the benefits without the risk. That isn't how the world works.

A more detailed break down of that bottom 50% shows that 45-47% have no federal income tax liability and many actually collect money through EITC

So we tax now based on wealth.

    Interesting. When did that start?

So they are benefiting from living in one of the most advanced countries in the world, where quite literally they have the ability and opportunity most people on the planet can only dream of in terms of ability to grow weath.... and they pay NOTHING for that opportunity. Yet, to some people, it's "Unfair".

So out of touch with reality some of these people are.

It's like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum because they got the yellow ferrari instead of the green one his buddy got.

That's how our entitled generation acts.

The class warfare left would love the opportunity to tax wealth in order to push their social justice agendas.

Government is taxed with fairness, meaning really equality of outcomes, in a free enterprise style of market?

Somebody got participation trophies as a child.
