Whoever came up with this idea is a brilliant - I mean EVIL - capitalist running dog!

I denounce Hasbro and its latest parody Monopoly game:

Oh, dear - everyone isn't having fun!

An educational game for our times! and ungrateful kulaks in need of liquidation are snatching it off Target's shelves faster than they can stock it. I have a feeling this is going to be one of Hasbro's best selling board games in years, and the carnival of butthurt in the Twittershere is only going to fuel more sales:

You can get yours through Amazon starting at $67.49 - like Socialism it's a total rip off! :roflol:

That is some cleverly funny sh*t.

It sure has triggered poor old Nick Kapur though (who describes himself as a "Historian of Japan and East Asia", so that's good, at least he isn't describing himself as an economist.) Seeing how triggered he is is kind of funny, but he should probably stick to pontificating about Japan, rofl.

I did an image search, for the fun of it. :roflol:

As a Liberal I find this hilarious.

I can't wait for the Conservative Politics edition where the railroads become gun shops and all the properties are trailer parks.

Kapur's meltdown was pretty funny. His bleating and babbling did more to draw attention to the game than anything Hasbro has done.

Ted Cruz had some pretty amusing replies on Twitter, too...

In the Socialism Game the hospitals have no power and medicine so you have your baby at home and go dumpster-diving for dinner, just like they do in Venezuela.

So when do the other players come in, take all of property and money and kill you off?

Right, because the abolition of private property is a feature of capitalism, not socialism.

True. With capitalism you've got to work. But the rewards are yours to reap.
