He's toxic. No one will back him. The people that pick the leaders will simply get another horse to ride on...and then we will oppose his bad policy when we see it.

But there should be much less craziness without The Lightworker.

Gee I get it.Obama still has a card up his sleeve ... Huh.
What in the world are you waiting for.
Some New Obama. An Obama like no other. One who will show
    how much he cares.
This is a Political fever.Like maybe only a shot can cure.
I knew this Fraud was harmful to this Country back when he
campaigned.By his conflicting words/opinions and more specifically his
History. His words seldom match his actions. He says stuff to appease and
manipulate. He stands for having his way.An historic juvenile bratty belligerence born out of a love for Communism like his mentor believed,
Frank Marshall Davis. However a Communist manifesto that made him a
leader with lavish needs and demands.
    Wise Up.There isn't a lot of time.

    You are correct, Mac-7.

Mr. Obama seems unable to get a firm grip on the toughest issue facing his presidency and the country—the economy. He now asserts he is going to "pivot" to jobs. Now we pivot to jobs. When there are already 25 million Americans who are either unemployed or cannot find full-time work? ... Does this president not appreciate what is going on?

Fewer Americans are working full-time today than when Mr. Obama took office. We have lost over 900,000 full-time jobs in the last four months alone, and long-term unemployment is at a post-World War II high.

The public's faith in his ability to deal with the economy has plunged. As Doyle McManus of the L.A. Times put it, "Can this president persuade voters to let him keep his job when so many have lost theirs?" Even Jimmy Carter didn't plumb the depths of national dissatisfaction revealed in the stunning Gallup poll taken Aug. 11-13. The president's approval rating was only 39% with a mere 26% approving of his handling of the economy.

Even if the government instituted a 100% tax on both corporate profits and personal incomes above $250,000 per year, it would yield enough revenue to run the government for only six months. Why? Because under Mr. Obama's presidency, government spending has swelled to 24% of GDP from 18%. The president appears to consider himself immune from error and asserts the fault always lies elsewhere—be it in the opposition in Congress or the Japanese tsunami or in the failure of his audience to fully understand the wisdom and benefits of his proposals. But in politics, the failure of communication is invariably the fault of the communicator.

The ubiquitous teleprompter Obama almost always uses symbolizes and compounds his emotional distance from his audience.

Independents know that they made a huge mistake in voting for Obama. They will correct their error in 2012. We will then repeal Obamacare, and heal as a nation. With luck, the progressive movement will cease to exist in the non-academic world.

You are very correct, James Cessna.

I especially liked when you said, "Even if the government instituted a 100% tax on both corporate profits and personal incomes above $250,000 per year, it would yield enough revenue to run the government for only six months."

Barack Obama is stuck on stupid when it comes to his "big government" solutions to our festering economic problems.

And the liberals in this group try and tell us Obama has a great understanding of the applications of investment capital and how to get our economy moving in the right direction again!

"There are also Democrats, some of them senators up for election in 2012, who oppose the bill simply for its mental connection to the stimulus bill, which laid at least part of the foundation for the Republican takeover of the House in 2010. "

I am one of the idiots who voted for this guy. I didn't like the idea of Sarah Palin running the show, so instead of doing the sensible thing and voting for a 3rd party candidate, I voted for Obama.

I still feel guilty. The good news is that I became a conservative after I realized the huge error that I made.

It's easy to be a liberal when you are in academia and you don't have to live in the real world. It didn't take me long to come to my senses.

The information on Solyndra gets worse for Obama every day!

I have a feeling the "Obamamobile" is going to throw a rod or run out of gas before it crosses the finish line!

Obama’s liberal base has turned against him. The kids who are protesting Wall Street are now aware that Obama is in collusion with the Wall Street bankers and he is no longer their friend.

There ought to be protestors carrying signs out there that say ' Justice for Agent Brian Terry', then it might get real.

Indeed.....I'd like to see just one sign condemning the ObamaCo/Solyndra/Green crony capitalism, fraud and outright theft.

An occasional American flag would be nice, as well.

    You are correct, webrockk.

Obama's failed policies are the reasons these kids are not working and cannot find jobs!

Given that Obama won't be running in the next election, the fact that some conservative mudslinging has stuck is totally irrelevant... There isn't a single popular conservative politician at the moment, and the Democrats have several viable candidates.

On the point of "big government...", I don't believe conservative sodomy laws are a good example of small government, nor is the "bicycle registry" proposed by Georgian Republicans.
As for "...solutions to our ailing economy", I don't believe that destroying the country's credit rating is a good solution either.

Was it necessary to necro a thread that is completely irrelevant today?
