Those are, objectively, very different scenarios. In the case of a deaf child, or a child in need of blood are an organ there is an actual and real condition that would be cured by the suggested procedure. Circumcision is a procedure with no real medical validity that only serves to eliminate a very miniscule are very unlikely potential. A more fair comparison would be to order a new organ or new blood for a fully healthy child.

There are no real rational defences for circumcision.. It can only be "justified" with religion or parental preference.
