The evidence against The Clintons does not take a year to find.

“The headline on the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain. But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one.

At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.” THE NEW YORK TIMES, Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal, By JO BECKER and MIKE McINTIRE, APRIL 23, 2015.

I recall the fury of the Democrats when Ken Starr was after Clinton over a host of crimes. Starr actually located crimes but the Senate forgave Clinton for them.

And that has been pointed out by many anti-Trump LW sources including The Intercept.

Get with the program boss. You aren't telling us anything here. You are desperately reaching and telling us nothing.

We'll slap my (*)(*)(*) and call me shorty. Imagine that! Mueller is getting the truth on Trump, and it is damaging to him. We'll I'll be dog gone. You don't say? :roflol:What the (*)(*)(*)(*) do you think Mueller is supposed to be doing? Oh that's right, in those empty hulls folks think that Mueller is limited in scope to his investigation while Bloomberg silently slips him the goodies on Trump. Got it. :roflol: Give me a friggin break. I got news for you. No, he is not limited.

:omfg: That's it. It's the missing link. "A PERSON"! Even though we don't know who this person is.

By the way, how does this harm the U.S. again?

In a way it shocked me to see the Senate act dishonorably and vote not to convict Clinton.

I am a very infrequent contributor to Wikipedia so what is posted to Wikipedia will remain there until it is challenged. So it is somewhat reliable. My contribution has never been challenged.

Discovering that so many of our leaders is now no longer a shock.

“When bad things happen in Washington, we assume the problem is that our national leaders have given in to seductive outside forces, the “special interests”, from time to time we erect laws and rules to protect politicians from these temptations. But what if we have it backwards? What if the greater culprits are *inside* the halls of power in Washington rather than on the outside? Some at the heart of Washington power have hinted at this cold, hard reality. As Edward Kangas, former global chairman Deloitte Touche, put it: ‘What has been called legalized bribery looks like extortion to us … I know from personal experience and from other executives that it's not easy saying no to appeals for cash from powerful members of Congress or there operatives. Congress can have a major impact on business … The threat may be veiled, but the message is clear: failing to donate could hurt your company.’”. EXTORTION, "How Politicians Extract Your money, BuyVotes, And Line Their Own Pockets, Peter Schweizer, HMO, NY, NY, 2013 p. 3.

The trust but verify days are now long gone. Very few still trust the politicians or the media.
Today it's verify verify and verify again - there is no trust left.

    Already did once. No one ever challenged it;
https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/11/110.20 Not even you. I look forward to your "legal" rebuttal of this statute. If you do not present a legal rebuttal, I will accept your concession of defeat, and the law as written shall stand as the unchallenged prevailing argument.

A foreign national shall not, directly or indirectly, make a contribution or a donation of money or other thing of value, or expressly or impliedly promise to make a contribution or a donation, in connection with any Federal, State, or local election.

You have been hoodwinked by conman Trump, champ. Mueller is well respected in the circles he has been involved with and has been for decades. As soon as he was appointed, both Republicans and Democrats alike, praised him and touted him as a non partisan professional who would do a great job. Trump, on the other hand has been known as a cheat and a swindler in any place he has done bussiness. The two main places Trump has operated, New York City and Atlantic City rejected him soundly in the election because he is a known skunk. He conned a lot of rubes throughout the country with his man of the people, make America Great line and squeaked by against the worst candidate possible in Clinton. But in his home town, and in Atlantic City amoung those who really know him, he got pummeled. To suggest that Bob Mueller is "scum" shows just how out to lunch Trump and his blind band of Trumpanzees truly are. You are not fooling anyone here sport.

I doubt that Meuller is foolish enough to leak anything personally. Someone on the team is leaking - or maybe it's the NSA. They know it all. ;-)

The burden of proof is upon you as it is you that made the claim in post 76 of this thread. I bear no burden of proof as I have made no claim of legality or illegality.

Thanks, looking it up now, but I will also read the rebuttals from other equally qualified individuals as it has been my experience that experts often disagree and I like to get both perspectives.

LOL, I've noticed that even liberal pundits, talking heads and propagandists have been too embarrassed to peddle this ludicrous nonsense during the last few days. Didn't you get the memo that this drivel is so grotesquely absurd and ridiculous that it's embarrassing :D

    FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL

Historical business dealings can establish the linkage between Donald Trump and his associates with the Russians that established the foundation for Russian intervention on Trump's behalf.

Statue of limitations? What crimes were committed where the statute of limitations apply. This was virtually a confession to prior criminal acts by Trump's lead attorney.

Mueller's assigned role was not just to investigate the actual Russian interventionism but to also pursue any leads or inquiries that originated from that investigation. Mueller's doing exactly what he was directed to do when he was assigned the role of special council. By comparison Bill Clinton's investigation started out as an investigation of Whitewater real estate deals and ended up with impeachment based upon testimony in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit.

We already have potential criminal charges against Kushner for lying repeatedly on his application for a security clearance and we know that Trump's campaign staff attempted to collude with the Russians to obtain damaging information on Hillary Clinton from the Russian government. This is hardly a witch hunt....

But as "The Donald" keeps saying there's nothing to the investigation and he's done nothing wrong...... and then he panics with every new day's news on how the investigation is going. If Trump has nothing to hide then why's he so worried about the investigation? Only someone with a lot to hide would be worried.

Trump supporters don't want to know the truth of course. They think "The Donald" is Superman and don't want to accept the fact that he's never been anything more than a cheap and unscrupulous con artist and they've been conned since day one.

The burden is met by complete absence of any alleged crimes committed, laws and/or statutes violated.

Oh and you claimed they must have reported the Russian invitation to the FBI. Would you Care to explain according to what law required them to?

There is no two perspectives, you, just like all the other leftists have failed to even name an alleged crime or quote a law/statute that's been broken. What does that tell you?

"I can't name a crime but you can't prove you did not commit it" meme would not fool a 5 year old, and that's exactly the logic you're peddling here.

The possible impeachment and removal from office of Trump is not contingent upon any law or statute being violated. Impeachment and removal from office is a political process and not a criminal prosecution process.

As for a violation of the law Kushner's failure to mention several Russian contacts, including one where the Trump campaign was seeking damaging information on Clinton from the Russian government, and failure to mention millions of dollars in investments on his security application is a criminal offense and if prosecuted and convicted he could spend the next five years in a federal prison. One of Mueller's top investigators just sent someone to prison for doing exactly the same thing that Kushner's done - lying on their application for a government security clearance.

There is no reach. Its just a fact that you can't get around. Also, its not like Bloomberg will give out the name of the Clinton Cult member leaking from the probe.

Oh and get with the program as the leak doesn't have to just harm the US. The leak can harm the investigation.

Thanks for stating the obvious and for indirectly confirming that no crime has been committed, no crime has in fact been alleged and this whole manufactured fake-news driven controversy is nothing but a political witch hunt. And as a political witch hunt, impeachment requires 67 senators. The left has 48 and without a real iron-clad evidence of a high crime, they won't even get all these 48 votes, let along 20 more republicans.

Trump campaign was not "seeking" damaging information from the Russian government, it's lame and disgusting of you to attempt to spin an invitation they received from an imposter, claiming to represent the Russian government to attend a meeting as them actively "seeking" information. Yuck.

PS if Kushner did perjure himself and it's a HUGE IF, by all means be my guest. But under the worst of circumstances that does not come even remotely close to the collusion/conspiracy/treason etc lib/prog/media hysteria and nonsense they've been trying and failing to pin on the President for the last 8 months. And these lies and fake news will come back to haunt them bigly and sooner than they think.

I didn't, because you failed to present the legal arguments against what the law points out. Too bad for you. I'll take that as a win for the statute and a loss for the team Trump defense. Thanks!

And getting to the truth harms an investigation?
