I can see the logic in that. Of course, things will work themselves out over the next few weeks.

    cough *secbias* cough

    I have
    1. FSU (22 straight btw)
    2. AU (beating an overrated LSU does not impress me to the point that they should jump 5 spots and over a team they couldn't beat in January, plus, won their game handily .
    3. Ole Miss
    4. Baylor
    5. ND
    6. Miss State

but AU vs Miss state will take care of one of those 2 this weekend
FSU vs ND will sort out 2 more next weekend.

I fully expect, after this weekend, that the winner of the AU vs Miss State team will be #1 over FSU, even if FSU crushes Syracuse due to #secbias

But yikes at this past weekend of football....

    Oregon
    Bama
OU (which is the one I really didn't expect at all)
    aTm (which I did expect)

My only prediction..... Get up for Gameday in Tallahassee in 2 weeks....

    Oh, and btw....

FSU has defeated 2, top 25 teams.... OSU just keeps climbing and climbing.... it's like they were completely underrated at the beginning of the year. So all the "FSU barely beat an unranked OSU" sure has gotten quiet lately....

but, I understand ranking OSU so low at the beginning.... I mean, there are only 25 spots.... and we needed room for teams like South Carolina and LSU in the top 25, because, well, you know... they are in the SEC, so they have to be in there....

strongest of the remaining undefeated teams LAST week. That includes Au, Bama, Oregon, the Mississippis......

    - - - Updated - - -

now... lets talk about Treon Harris for UF....

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    kinda sucks, doesn't it.

    - - - Updated - - -

all because their team wasn't in it... and cheering for the team that was good was all they had.

I didn't like ND, but when they played Bama, I cheered for them.

    not according to this

this was last week, before Bama lost. No other teams have just jumped up to undefeated that weren't last week.... so this list will get smaller and smaller each time a team like bama chokes out

FSU's schedule was easy............they have played poorly enough to make it look tough

They keep playing down to the comp and ND is going to end their hopes

And a 1 loss Alabama will be ahead of a 1 loss FSU

Alabama has been favored in every game they've played since 2009. It's impossible for their schedule to be ranked as "difficult". FSU has played one decent team and they barely won that game.

the article also notes that argument, too, that FSU makes the sschedule look mediocre by being so dominanat over it.

Funny, whenever the SEC beats clemson... it's quality, or when they lose, it was to a good team... .but when FSU does it.... they are overrated, or clemson should have won and we got lucky.

    Meanwhile.... 21 straight

    he decommited from us....

;) I hate notre dame.... but it was all I had. I knew they were going to be completely outmatched.... just had to hope. However... my team's season success didn't revolve around ND winning any more than it should revolve around AU's season that Bama wins. You aren't better because the team in your conference is good.

At this point.... I can't see how anyone not in the SEC can NOT cheer for the winner of FSU/ND to run the table and win it.

Clemson was a decent team -- last year.
    So was FSU.

but when they beat the SEC, opening weekend... they were deemed a contender....

We beat everyone put in front of us... even the SEC champs...

just to (*)(*)(*)(*) you. Nothing worse than a 4-8 gaytor fan, or an LSU fan that hasn't been relevant since 08, or AU on a down year, preaching how the conference is the best, when only 1, maybe 2 teams are actually good in it.

This year.... AU may be that one team. the Mississippis will crumble, and Bama is good... but not great.

but at the moment, you have 3 contenders that still have yet to play each other.... it'll sort out who's actually good in the conference

If you had any actual knowledge regarding CFB, you'd know that Clemson lost to Georgia in their opening game.

    Georgia... Let that sink in.

Clemson was soundly defeated by a team that lost to the lowly South Carolina. They'll lose again at the end of the regular season, when they play the lowly South Carolina. The SEC East is weak, but not as weak as the ACC.

This isn't a one year deal....

it was sold as a tremendous win over clemson this year, yet, when FSU did it... "they got lucky"

last year, when GA lost to clemson, Clemson was deemed the one good team in the ACC.... well, that is, until FSU dismantled them systematically.... then they were "overrated" and the campaign against FSU began because they were seen (rightfully so as history shows) as the one non-sec team that could end the reign.

Now that the reign ended.... and FSU still hasn't gone away.... it's about trying to margainalize them to the poll voters, while hoping and praying some team beats them for the SEC.

Georgia is not "The SEC". Georgia could not even be considered the best team in the SEC East unless they defeat Mizzou this weekend.
Clemson is... Well... Clemson. I fully expect them to lose to South Carolina this year -- as they do every year.

if the "head ball coach" can only win one game then it must be the Clemson game

poor Brady in MI can't even get that done with respect to OSU

yeah... SC, def has clemson's #..... and if that's the only game Spurrier wins for the remainder of the year, SC will love him.

    - - - Updated - - -

Clemson is dang sure hit or miss.... A game, or F game... not much in between... We've discussed this. You see that they beat NCState 41-0.... the same NCState that dang sure almost beat FSU.... and the same clemson that couldn't beat the FSU with a backup qb.....
