I'm not a Tosh.0 fan, but I've heard of that skit on the local sports talk radio shows. I agree regarding Muschamp. He's a good DC, and he is a friend of Jimbo's. I wouldn't be surprised to see Will take an NFL job after he leaves Florida.

I'd love to see him at FSU....

MSU has only played one tough team. LSU and aTm aren't quality.

Lol, you don't look at team's power rankings, do you? They detail why teams are better than others. LSU is a quality team. Better than any team FSU plays besides Notre Dame

you mean power rankings by ESPN? lol.

LSU is average at best.... aTm.... I'm hard pressed to even think they are CLOSE to even average.

    Clemson = LSU quality
    OSU > aTm
    ND = AU quality

MSU has a couple of good games remaining..... but if they don't win them, strength of schedule doesn't matter.

Power rankings by anyone....it doesn't matter WHO makes the power rankings, they are done by statistics which are unbias.

You are being very bias, and quite frankly, a little loony to think the FSU even deserves a top 5 ranking. Say they didn't win the title last year, they wouldn't be a top 5 team. Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, MS State, Oregon all have much tougher schedules than FSU's free ride to an undefeated season.

    no bias..... bwahahahahahaha sure.

We had a weaker schedule last year, yet we still won... I understand your team is jealous of what FSU has.

    but on a side,very bias note.... http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-fo...ck-chubb-todd-gurley-sec-west-big-12-playoffs

    I love it

MSU won't even make the SEC championships... much less the playoffs.

Well with a schedule 8 times harder than Florida state, it is questionable. Florida state, skating by NC state, beating a horribly-sound defensive Notre Dame (lol by the most hilarious call)....their chances of even winning a playoff game are .08%. They have no experience this year against a decent team. They were good last year, I won't deny that. They were great. They were powerful as Oregon and with an amazing D. This year, not even close. Their high school schedule is going to give them a rude awakening in the playoffs. Assuming they make it, which anyone with their schedule would.

tennessee had the toughest schedule last year.... if you can't win them... what's the point?

    - - - Updated - - -

that's also about the chances everyone gave FSU last year... how did that work out for the mighty SEC

I also realize, the only way ND would be considered a quality win is if an SEC team beats them.... not so much when FSU does.

Clemson is that way too. If the SEC beats them.... it's a great win, strength of schedule, blah blah blah

when FSU does it, they are overrated, they gave the game to us... blah blah blah

The mighty SEC still made it to the Championship. Granted, I took FSU over a lucky Auburn. I think last year's Alabama would have beat FSU. Auburn got lucky 3 times just to make it to the Championship.

yes, I will agree with the fact they got lucky a bunch.

    Ga hail mary
kick 6 - although, it WAS tied at that point in time, and heading to OT. even without that kick-6, which was probably the best play in college football history as a way to win a game.... There's no garantee Bama can win in OT....

and whoever else that cream puff team they almost lost to early....

but "bama could beat FSU" is pure speculation.... cover a gawl damned field goal, and maybe we could have seen them try....

I remember Brent Musburger, actually saying "Bama is the best team in the nation, even though AU and FSU are playing for the title" right before the kickoff against OU.....

then OU won.... lol Bama wasn't even the best team that night.... bwahahahahaha

but beyond that, like I have said time and time again.... in the top 4, any team can win or lose to any other team, depending on how well one plays. You change 2 plays in the AU and FSU game.... AU is the champs. It's the way I feel about any of the matchups last year.... FSU/Bama.... cointoss.... FSU/OU.... cointoss

same way I feel this year.

4 SEC west teams in the top 5 makes for a tough schedule for Auburn, Ole Miss, MS State, and Alabama. None of them are bad, they are all great teams that earned the spot they're at. FL state has a cake-walk to the playoffs now. No one denies that...

2 of them (not sure which yet) don't belong there though....

I don't deny FSU remaining schedule... but I will put the first half's schedule up against MSU's (for reason's already mentioned)

Just because you say they "don't belong there", doesn't disprove their football statistics. Which statistic are you claiming is invalid which makes them less of an opponent? What makes them "not as good as their rank"?

sec statistics don't = football statistics.

Beating south carolina and aTm doesn't make you an elite team anymore than FSU beating OSU and Clemson

Beating AU is a step in the right direction, but nothing more than beating ND

What seems to escape you, is that 4 teams in on DIVISION of a conference (WEST) are in the top 5. That means, they all play each other. That means, that 2 of them will lose in a given 4 team matchup. Which loses rank.

Meanwhile, teams like Florida State (that barely beat teams like NC state) play middle school teams until the playoffs. Congratulations on your tough schedule! You earned it :salute:

why is MSU in it again? because they beat a currently unranked aTm when they were #6. because they beat a currently #25 LSU while they were still undefeated?

Good thing LSU and aTm aren't on the MSU schedule in November when both teams show multiple losses, or else MSU would barely be scratching the top 15 currently

Teams can have bad games and fall out of the top 25, then get back in (Ohio state) because they are GOOD. LSU is one of them, oviously. MS state's tougher schedule (which no one denies, but you) is the reason THEY are number 1, and FSU is number 2. Not even close in the votes.

Ole miss only trails FSU by 3 votes in the AP and Coaches polls.....

Ole Miss will jump FSU this weekend as we are off (since we play next thursday)

again, I'm not worried about #1-4.... if/when we win out, we will be in the playoffs. Then we can see just how good prescott is.....

however, there will be no undefeated team (except FSU) We will be #1, sec champ #2.... we'll see from there

Yes, I can for sure see that happening. Since the top 4 SEC west teams all play each other, it's bound to get ugly for at least 2 of them, maybe all. WHo knows, it's going to be a tough road. Auburn and MS state are good teams. I'm nervous as hell being an Ole Miss fan.
