Has anyone experienced this with their dog? The past couple of nights, my Chihuahua seems to experience discomfort and swallows hard, or gulps. She sometimes licks whatever she's lying on. It lasts for several minutes, then she seems to be okay. I've been reading some websites, and although many dog owners experience this, I have found no real answers. I've read that it could be anything from seizures, to food allergies, to grass blades stuck in the throat. Visits to the vet costing hundreds in tests with no diagnosis, etc. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
