I just got the idea of a website that presents opposite international news. For example if Greece were to declare bankruptcy, I'd write a story on how Greece just got a huge debt restructuring in place and that things finally seem to be going well economically.

Whats the point? Well, if we can present opposite news in a talented way it would both be a good read, but also it could be a good indicator of how things are going "out there" as it would put things into perspective.

Here's another example: Lets set a starting point for some stock indices at a given day. Lets say that Dow Jones is at 13 600 at the start of october. From then on our indices would go the opposite way of all the other indices. This is cool because it obviously lets readers see where we would be if things were the other way around.
So far just business/economics examples, but all breaking international news would be important.

This project would be more of an art than science, as it probably would be hard to find the absolute opposite of a complex situation. This is also one of the things I find compelling. It would present an ongoing fictional and opposite world.

So to my question: Would anyone here want to write for such a website? I obviously cannot do this all by myself as it is a pretty big task.
I have already made a wordpress-website, and I am willing to put some money into this if I get some people on the team. Wordpress has some pretty cool news themes and custom design options so in the end it could look pretty great, I just need to know if people like the idea or eventually would like to write. Later the possibility of changing to a .com website is of course there if this thing is "cool".

Sorry if I made this hard to understand or if I wrote poorly. Getting late in Norway and starting to get really tired. Appreciate any feedback and hoping I'm not delusional thinking this is a cool idea.

If I understand your concept correctly, when there is bad news about something, you want a story that would be good news and visa versa?
