Pressure is mounting for "Fingers" Biden to unseal documents related to his time in the Senate as he faces increased scrutiny for allegations of rape leveled against him by Tara Reade.

The Biden campaign has denied the rape but Biden has not denied it.

Reade has said that she filed a complaint with three Biden staffers, none of whom took action, and that she filed a written complaint with a “Senate personnel office” in 1993, according to The New York Times.

Biden’s Senate records are protected by the University of Delaware Library — but are being kept secret.

The university announced that the records would not be made available.

 

What Reade describes is RAPE, at work, perpetrated on her by her boss.

She'll do a lot of things in order to advance.

 

Blassey Ford had zero evidence. Not a single witness on her side, only her memories. And that got her an FBI investigation. At least Reid has witnesses, a recorded Phone Call by her mother and possible documentation at a university. I think that warrants an FBI investigation if we go by Democrats screams for a Kavanaugh FBI investigation. Fair should be fair for both sides in this case.

 

They DID have evidence, and at least a dozen credible witnesses standing by, but the GOP-led Senate under McConnell would not allow any of that to be presented.

There are several solid obstruction cases, at least eight of which are detailed in Volume II of the Mueller Report. But since the Justice Dept deems it illegal to indict a sitting president, nothing is happening on any of those.

Same goes for ongoing SDNY and congressional investigations into his finances, much of which involves his accounting firm, Deutsche Bank and the Bank of Cyprus, both of which are known, convicted money launderers -- but it's been decades since any reputable bank would do business with him.

I don't have a complete list, those are just highlights. For the obstruction charges, the statute of limitations is five years, which means that if he gets re-elected (it wouldn't surprise me) he'll skate like he usually does, but if he loses this election, there could be handcuffs waiting as he exits the White House.

One can hope.

 

Is there an investigation? Last I heard, she had filed a criminal complaint, I'm assuming in DC, but I've heard nothing about an investigation. Got a link?

 

So far, Reade has filed a formal criminal complaint. I'm assuming an investigation will follow, but I haven't heard anything yet.

In Kavanaugh's case, as well as Trump himself, allegations were from multiple accusers. In Trump's case, some fairly recent. This is one allegation from 27 years ago. I'm going to withhold judgement for now, as I did with Kavanaugh until other women came forward, and until old schoolmates began telling stories of Kavanaugh being a blackout drunk back then. Logically, since his primary accuser was very credible, he was likely guilty but simply had no memory of his drunken groping. He was very young then, and alcohol is poisonous. I still don't think he's a good pick for the Supreme Court.

The right have not held back from slut-saming and victim-blaming on Kavanaugh's accusers. I haven't heard a single political pundit try to discredit Ms. Reade.

 

The investigation is inactive for lack of evidence.

Even Tara's neighbor at the time corroborated the sexual assault, and she's voting for Biden this year.

Not really. Voters now have a choice between a serial predator who has been accused by dozens of women over the years and was even caught bragging about it and paying hush money to women to keep them quiet, and Biden, who is a saint compared to trump.
If the media wants to focus on Biden’s one allegation, they should remind voters of trump’s serial allegations in every news report written about it.
Anything else is hypocrisy.
Then again, this is most like another deep fake lie being manufactured by the trump gang at a desperate time.
In any case, we have no doubt as to who is the lesser of two evils.
Most people are dumping trump as we speak.
