Hi all, I've never been very politically active other than voting regularly. I was a registered republican until Bush got us into a war in the middle east that was predicated by lies. I am a child of the sixties, graduating from college in 1969. I was a special education teacher for 34 years and loved my job. I retired from teaching to care for my aging parents with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. I have been married twice. My father fought in WW II and my second husband did two tours with the Marines in Vietnam in 66 and 67. He has physical and mental service related injuries. I look forward to having a place to share opinions and views of politacal issues.
