Cuba remains our enemy because we insist on that belligerent relationship. Obama tried to change the relationship, but Donald would have none of it.

He applauded the overthrow of Morales in Bolivia, and is dreaming of doing the same with Maduro.

My point was that the US military has not gained a decisive final victory through warfare over any enemy since 1945. A good reason for the US to work harder to avoid war.
Cuba, like China will remain an enemy of the US as long as the CP rules. Trump recognizes the obvious. But Trump has not engaged Cuba, China or VZ in open warfare.
This in spite of the obvious eagerness for more war on the part of the Deep State and the rest of our military industrial complex. Yet another reason why Trump won in 2016 and will be an even stronger candidate in 2020.
