My understanding is started late June/early July.

That was no abuse of power...the President is allowed to do that, moreover they got the approve from OSC. It's not normally done, but we are in teh middle of the Chinese pandemic....he would have much rather done it in NC

It was announced in late July. It started a couple of weeks later.

I can't imagine that it was intended to be a 3 week project, but the covid issues in Florida and Trump's desire to have a live audience almost certainly pushed things. You can even see how poorly the put down the sod. They knew at that point they were going to cover everything with turf anyway.

That might of been the digging, but the planning was well before that....3 weeks daily...easily done. As you highlighted earlier it's not large area.

Either way it looks fantastic and the updates were needed.

Now TDS Sufferers get two meltdowns for the price of one Rose Garden renovation.

I guess the liberals commenting here missed the part about the taxpayers not paying for the repair work.

Do you honestly believe that would stop them from biting Trump's ankles, any old Trump will do!

No, I dont think it was.

    That isn't how government works.

And I highly, highly doubt Melania sat through pre-planning meetings about material needed and budget constraints.
