I think I just invented a whole new word there, Nixonification, or perhaps it's a verb to Nixonify, but given the recent headlines about the Obama administration, I wonder if maybe it's not me inventing that all by myself, but tuning into some unseen collective consciousness. I think that since Fast and Furious scandal broke, that was a while back now, but since then it's been like an exponential curve, and I think it's like Moore's Law applied to Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot bewilderment levels in the press. So, is it just an optical illusion on my part, reading too much or too little into thins, or is there really a meltdown taking place in the administration?

Nixon had enough decency to resign because he didn't want to see our nation traumatized by the impeachment process.

Clinton had no shred of decency at all, and forced us through the entire impeachment process.

You will see that Obama is more like Clinton than Nixon.

He cares nothing about what's good for America, he cares only about himself.

    Obama is a narcissistic sociopath.

Why do I think your not old enough to remember Nixon? Let me put your fears to rest.

We will start with Clinton. He got caught dipping his wick in the wrong honey pot. This activity has occurred with several past presidents we know about but in the previous cases the press had the decently to let it go unreported at the time. Being a rather sensitive matter with in his family, he then did what 99% of all those caught in similar circumstances do, he lied. The poor joke that followed in the purely partisan impeachment ended as we knew it would from the beginning, he retained his office. As a reward, many of the House members that pushed for impeachment found themselves looking for new jobs next election while Clinton is now one of the most popular, active, influential, and honor past president we've had.

Tricky Dick, on the other hand brought the entire power of the Federal Government to bear against his political opponents. He used the FBI, IRS, and his infamous Plumbers to harass and intimidate those he deemed his enemies. He regularly ignored and defied Congress rejecting both their budgetary mandates and refusing their over site. His foreign policy conducted illegal wars and invasions of neutral counties while he lied to Congress and the American people about it. The prosecutors that got too close he fired from the Justice Department until he found one that would do his bidding. When it came down to it with Congress ready to take their evidence by sending in officers to the White House, he responded by surrounding the White House with armed troops to prevent entry. He acted with the ruthlessness and efficiency of a dictator accomplishing things quickly without checks or balances.

Now we come to Obama. At worse he appears as overwhelmed by the scope of the present Government. It seems to me his management style would like to take control of the various agencies for "accountability" but its just too big to be micromanaged from the White House. Obama seems reluctant to give his department heads free rein and the people he has chosen as leaders don't want to do anything without his personal approval. As a result you have the vast machine of Government without effective leadership and running open loop. A lot of this has been forced by Congress. While Congress was perfectly happy to let W be a paper president and delegate virtually everything to his staff Obama is called to account for actions taken by those 6 or 8 management levels below him. With about 2 million employees there is a lot to go wrong if you are going to blame only one person for everyone's actions. Meanwhile the Republicans in the Senate has held up most every conformation of department heads, judges, administrators and all those other people that were suppose to help lead and oversee this operation. It's a sweet deal for Republicans. Do everything you can do to impede and hinder Government then have your own news network to highlight every short coming and blame every ill on the President.

I think most politicians are narcissistic sociopaths, though. I don't really think it's possible for somebody to run for President without suffering a few mental side-effects, as they say power corrupts and all. But, to clarify my point for the benefit of those who cannot interpret my sparkling gibberish, I give myself the benefit of the doubt, include the possibility that I might just be altogether misinformed by the lamestream media, else I'm noticing the scandal machines are shifting into overdrive.

If Obama gets impeached, then it becomes an issue for the Democrats, like that would be 2 in a row for them. That don't mean much to the base, it tickles them when the Republicans cry their crocodile tears, but I'm afraid they got a taste for it now. They got a resignation out of the IRS. If that was the inch, do they take the whole mile now? To go down the list of high crimes and misdemeanors, seriously, I think Obama screwed up when he should have picked Kucinich as Vice President, beyond that I don't really know what real evidence there is Obama done anything any different than any other President except for maybe skin color. They accuse him of being a Muslim, they accuse him of being a communist, they accuse him of being from Kenya, they accuse him of being from Chicago, but seems more like he's just a stoner or something. I worry about what if it just comes down to how badly the Republicans want to fire him up, like is it that relentless? I don't want Obama to resign or be impeached, I want him to just quit the Democrats and join the Tea Party, but that is not likely to happen today.
