Our Founding Fathers already Told us what is Necessary to the security and presumably the domestic tranquility of any of our free States. Why are we wasting the taxpayers Tax monies, with a War on Crime?

I honestly do not know what would happen for sure. I do believe you can look at the 90's as a example in reality. The economy was in far better shape than it is now. Yet three acts of terror helped changed the voting in the US. Two were committed by the government Waco and Ruby Ridge. Then a few extremist carried out the worst act of homegrown terrorism in the US.

The events of the 90's helped change most of the south to "red" states. Even caused Gore to lose his home state in 2000. I would expect even the mention of a possible ban to cause damage to the democrats in the midterm elections. As I have said before I do not think the ban will pass, I doubt it comes to a vote in the senate before the midterms.

While I will never believe violence is a way to achieve your goals.(to bad he US government does not feel the same way) The vote in America only allows you to pick between 2 candidates approved by the elite. It to me has become more of voting against someone or party as opposed to voting for someone you actually believe in. I believe most firearm owners will not use violence unless it is in self-defense. The vote would be how most fight back. Not sure how effective that is since it was more than likely the reason we had Bush for 8 years. People like myself would support republicans in elections even if they do not represent us in other ways. The democrats had actually started to pull away from the republicans. This will actually give the republicans a good chance in 2014 and 2016.

I believe that to be correct. What would happen though is that many guns would go 'missing'.

Immaturity and insecurity are not limited strictly to advocates of firearms ownership. Those that support greater firearm restrictions are just as prone to immaturity, insecurity, and childish antics.

Except for those who cite real life as justifying their position.

Prove that no one is supporting firearms confiscation. Prove it beyond all reasonable doubt, that no one has ever proposed firearms confiscation as a possibility.

its too bad we cannot impose a "life bond" on these people who claim no one wants to confiscate guns or that their current anti gun schemes are not incremental steps towards bans

What is childish and immature is the way some people love their cars. "I named my car Brad..."

We all have to die someday and death will set you free. I suspect you won't need any guns at that point. :)

As opposed to individuals that name their firearms?

The problem with such a mentality lays with the "someday" and how someday may not be the day you are shot. You may instead be stuck living the rest of your life in persistent vegetative state, looking up at a ceiling, and listening to the sound of the machinery keeping you alive.

Here is a link to a senator admitting that she tried to ban guns outright. This is her agenda and many other legislators. They just haven't figured out a way to do it yet, so now they are just taking incremental steps.
And don't forget Clintons AW Ban
Dont you remeber what happened in New Orleans after Katrina, where they went door to door in certain areas confiscating firearms?

I have never, in my entire life, ever met anyone that really called their guns names. But I did see it once in the Expendables. Does that count?
They do come with names, tho...Mossberg, Lorcin, Ruger,Smith and Wesson......

I named my guns and instructed my kids to use those names. When my kids were smaller, it was easier to deal with my kids asking where "Carrie" was instead of "where is your gun?" when we were in public.
