Apparently President Valerie Jarret is running things.....

If anyone was wondering why it took Barack HusSame Obama almost a full year to make what could be described as the easiest decision in Presidential History......now you know.

Yes a President with Zero Military Experience and Zero Foreign Policy Experience played a crucial role in getting Osama in Imaginationland. In the Real World however, the Most Inexperienced President in History played no role beyond "Yes", and he almost screwed that up.

Was it the easiest decision ever?

Sending troops into a sovereign country without that country's permission to raid a compound in said sovereign country on the off chance that a terrorist was there? With the very real possibility of civilians deaths which could further isolate our alleged ally in the region?

Now I do not know if theses unnamed sources are accurate or not, but I would like to think that a president pauses for a moment and weighs the possible risks of his or her actions before ordering something that could have so many ramifications.

I wouldn't say I wanted him killed. I certainly thought he needed to be dealt with, whether that was through capture or insertion of a laser guided missile into his rectum prior to detonation would have been fine.

Do you have any evidence that was the case? Or can I assume that these unnamed sources are to be taken as gospel due to their condemnation of the president's alleged inaction?

 

Proof isnt what was important.....what was important, was that Obama and President Jarret made sure Osama got the proper Muslim burial as quickly as possible.....so Obama could start spiking the football as soon as possible.

Obama has set the Presidential Record for Golf Outings.......and he took almost a year to come to agreement with President Jarret.

Which means Obama played numerous rounds of Golf rather than "pausing for a moment and weighing the possible risks".......and eventually left the decision to Commandress In Chief Jarret.

the Valerie Jarret part does not surprise me but in her or Obama's defense executing a raid like that you get one chance, best make sure because "oops" does not cut it. You don't normally get a chance for a do over

I guarantee there's a lot more to this than just what the weather was. When going after a high profile target such as Bin Laden, you need to make certain the Intel gathered has a high success rate. If it turns out that he wasn't there during the time of the raid, it would have drawn him deeper into hiding. I would rather have the raid cancelled a few times to make sure ALL conditions are favorable and met....rather than pull a Bush and not do anything at all!!!

I find it hard to criticize anyone, left, right, for invented actions and positions. The president is many things, and not all of them positive. But if you are going to attack him, why not attack him for something real?

I would have waited until I knew with HIGH certainty from intel gathered...it's stupid to just rush into something without knowing fully what to expect...if it takes a year...then yes...you wait.

And your article says it was only cancelled 3 times (Jan, Feb, March). Osama was killed in May...how does that equate to a "full year"??

That's interesting, because Osama's burial at sea was not the proper Muslim burial (gee, for a Muslim, you'd think Obama would know that), and in fact pissed off Muslims worldwide, both extremist and non-extremist.

 

Osama's compound was spotted in August 2010......identified as such in September 2010.....President Jarret was given full control, testicles, and all the possible options in March 2011.......because The Community Organizer-In-Chief couldnt figure out what to do.
