"MS. SPEIER [U.S. Representative of California]: Okay. What is the interest of Russia with the National Rifle Association? "MR. SIMPSON: I think that most of what we have found is pretty much out there now. You know, it's been said by others, but, you know, what eventually - it appears the Russians, you know, infiltrated the NRA. And there is more than one explanation for why. But I would say broadly speaking, it appears that the Russian operation was designed to infiltrate conservative organizations. And they targeted various conservative organizations, religious and otherwise, and they seem to have made a very concerted effort to get in with the NRA. And so there is a Russian banker-slash-Duma member-slash-Mafia leader named Alexander Torshin who is a life member of the NRA. And we spent a lot of time investigating Mr. Torshin. And he is well known to Spanish law enforcement for money laundering activity, and you have probably seen the press articles. And I think the Spanish files on him should be available to you.And he, as you know, was supposed to have a meeting with President Trump after the inauguration. And somebody noticed that there had been some stories about him that weren't pretty good. "So he is one of the more important figures, but, you know, another woman with whom he was working, Maria Butina, also was a big Trump fan in Russia, and then suddenly showed up here and started hanging around the Trump transition after the election and rented an apartment and enrolled herself at AU, which I assume gets you a visa." http://docs.house.gov/meetings/IG/IG00/20180118/106796/HMTG-115-IG00-20180118-SD002.pdf The NRA spent over 50 million dollars in 2016 to help pro-gun candidates get elected. Could part of that money have come from Russia?
" 'NRA members should be outraged if even a portion of this alarming story is true. The NRA tells its members that it defends America's freedoms. If the NRA is actually a front for Russian interests and interfered with our elections, actively or passively, then they have undermined the very democratic freedoms they purport to represent. We can only wonder how many true patriots will decide that this is the last straw and give up their NRA memberships,' said Co-President Kris Brown. "Brady Co-President Avery Gardiner added, 'Elections matter. Election laws matter. Revelations that the Russians may have made contributions through the NRA are deeply concerning and may violate multiple laws. Brady calls upon the NRA leadership to immediately disclose the identities of all contributors to its political activities. Until they do so, all candidates should have serious concerns about the ethics and legality of accepting NRA contributions.' Regardless of any Russian interests, keeping Hillary out of office is defending America's 2A freedoms.
Russia = the new skunk used in mud slinging in American Politics. The Russians would not bother to waste any time or resourses on the N.R.A. The McCarthy era of crying Communist in order to discredit Political opponents still persists.
This made me laugh at least. Amusing that we're referring to right winger bubble now, both foreign government and sheep population
No, it is more inane babble that people love to embrace, because of Politics, some would take to their bosom, that of most foul proportions.
That Russia has tried to manipulate US politics is a matter of fact. But it was only you that cretinously compared it to McCarthyism. Think before you type perhaps?
Russia has zero ability to manipulate or cause harm in American Politics in any fashion. The U.S. Government has many safeguards and Agencies in place to deal with any such threats that might occur, and ways to deal with them, when they do.
Oh pobre pobre mon ami........ lol.... You and your chicken little, Zee sky, she is falling ! Look ! It hit me on the little head ! You love anything Anti America......

Did you really go there? Pizzagate? I think it was because of people like you that it went viral to start with. Anything I read these days about Pizzagate seem to use the words "theory", "discredited" and "debunked".
Based on fuzzy maths and unproved hypothesis with many blank spots filled in with imaginary statistics.
With respected methodologies and, despite multiple data sources, with the 'more guns=more crime' hypothesis supported. There are typically two types of pro-gunners. Those who are simply poorly educated and don't know the importance of research. And then those, finding the evidence inconvenient, pretend that it doesn't matter.
You are trying to prove things from a theoretical viewpoint, I have lived with Guns and used them to defend myself and save others as a professional officer of the law, you really do not know very much and simply rely on other people to prove your point.
