It was in the newspapers last year that the Coptic Priests were doing the same thing here in Egypt
The Catholic church as part of the establishment during Spain's facist past got its fingers dirty and this is the origin of this scandal. I expect the established religious authorities in Egypt also got dirty fingers under your dictator regimes. I'm sure if you had read about something like thsi involving Coptic priests in Egypt then you would have posted it. Anyway how did the scandal in Egypt turn out, a smear campaign without any consequences for those spreading it or convictions and executions - surely you execute such criminals in Egypt?
It was posted here about the Coptic baby trafficking. The last sentence I heard of was a Coptic Egyptian American couple got 2 years in prison when the wife tried to pretend she gave birth to twins but really bought them in a Coptic Church child trafficking ring in Alex and was caught when she tried to forge the documents. Ok so were there posts opposing bringing such news on the basis that it is hateful towards Copts and was the poster accused of Coptophobia and bigotry? What about a sentence in support of your claim rather than just the last one you'd heard of? How many Coptic priests were sentenced and were the verdicts reliable? How do you know that the Copts weren't running an ethical adoption service rather than trafficking children? How am I being hysterical or obsessive about executions? You were the one who claimed that rapists are executed in Egypt not me. Maybe you regard baby snatching for sale and trafficking as less serious a crime than rape? What has a supposed "American thing" to do with me?

I am trying to think of any conflict that dosen't have a religious dimension ,can't think of any?
