So now we learn that the Republican claim of Democrats committing voter fraud is just one more big lie by the right. And in fact, the 2020 election was the safest, most secure, least corrupt, most reliable maybe in my lifetime! And what the Republicans learned is that if elections are fair and legitimate and if voting is convenient for everyone, Democrats will win every time. So the Repubies had no choice but to greatly increase their cheating so they could win.

 

The Republicans get a lot of money from the rich to cheat and "win" so that they can keep enacting pro-rich laws and policies that further widen the wealth gap.

 

So, he's now a felon? He can't vote anymore? One less vote for the right.

 

Once he is convicted, he will indeed be a felon.

 

Sometimes I think this is all a big joke perpetrated by the right wing powers that be to get rid of the stupid voters in their party. But why would they do that?

 

What do you want to discuss, Stat? Their Lord and Savior is a pathological liar and cheat. Why would you expect them to be any different?

we'd break the bandwidth on this forum if we talked about all the ways he is slimy and his cult members love it because they can show their sliminess too.

There is nothing in my post that states otherwise. In fact, I specifically said they are okay with his sliminess.

 

The reason why it is so hard to come up with an exact compendium of voter fraud / ballot fraud / electoral fraud is because these cases can sometimes take more than a year to clear court and very few peoples' attention spans last that long.

Example: in the 2012 presidential election in Ohio (my home state), where there was 0.0024% (24 ten-thousandths of 1 percent, to be clear) voter fraud in that year, most of it elderly people with Alzheimers who accidentally voted twice and the system caught it because the system worked, it took months to sort out what was actually fraud and what was not, who was sentenced and who was not. And to note, the then Republican SOS of the great state of Ohio went out of his way to remind that this kind of miniscule fraud was less than statistically insignificant.

This is why when anyone of ANY ideology claims that there is massive voter fraud, just roll your eyes and know that that individual is speaking out of pure ignorance. Even in in states with relatively lax election laws (ND, AK, for instance), there is less than a drop in the bucket of real fraud.

So, it's a halloween boogeyman theme, has been all along.

 

A good reason to support more security in our voting such as signature matching and voter ID no vote harvesting etc don't ya think?
