Same here. I don't care about the cheating. It makes him a bad husband and a bad father (unless they had an open relationship, and maybe they did), but not necessarily a bad leader for that alone. As with Clinton, it is the cover up I care about. And you nailed it on the "all-in" thing. If you saw him as the lesser of two evils, fine, but kicking and screaming at every legitimate criticism of the man is just crazy.

 

I had no idea that one must hold a person accountable only if he is a republican, that democrats escape scot free and not held accountable. Has Trump given family values speeches? If so, point them out.

How did Daniels open herself up to blackmail? Perhaps you misread my post? I think you read it as "up to blackmail" . . . as in planning blackmail maybe? . . . instead of "opening up the Presidency to blackmail."

I take issue with moral values voters who vote single issue while wanting to institute moral control via fiat legislation, like evangelicals or moral values types of rightists, that's who.

Trump is a lying, cheating sleaze and a horrible president. Obama wasn't a cheater but he was a lazy do nothing POTUS. Both sides are sickening, but I am frankly really ****ing tired of every debate coming back to Clinton or some other democratic sleaze as justification for the current republican sleaze.

Just admit. You don't care about their morals or values, but at least be consistent and not apply those morals and values across the vast swathes of normal American citizens.

So, like I said, you misread my post. Opening oneself or one's office up to blackmail means that you do thing that allow you to be blackmailed by others. The person being blackmailed is the one who pays the money. That is how blackmail works.

 

Democrats are responsible for the vast number of laws passed since 1932. They have far and away had the congress for the most years. So if you want laws stopped, stop democrats.

 

Paid to the person doing the blackmailing. Who knew that a then 26 year old woman could show up 12 years later and want to collect blackmail money? I think the Trump lawyer got caught by surprise.

His lawyer likely advanced the woman the money with the expectation Trump would personally reimburse him.
