President Obama is what happens when an arrogant narcissist is raised by radical nation-haters and mentored by a series of radicals ranging from Socialists, Marxists, and Lord knows what all. Couple that personality and background with millions of radical leftists who essentially worshiped him for the first two years he was in office. The rest, as they say, is history.

You mean like when Obama taunted Republican lawmakers in 2009 by pretty much saying, "I won. You lost. Get over it" -- that sort of thing?

It's rather funny to listen to the hysteria of leftwingers in regards to the Tea Party movement since all it wants to do is reform the nation's finances and put government on a diet. The real reason both Barack Obama and MSNBC went insane over the Tea Party is because Obama and the Dem Party's leadership wanted to jack taxes through the roof and grow government to gigantic proportions. So any resistance whatsoever to an Obama agenda is considered insane. The irony being that all those leftwings hysterics biting themselves in the small of the back over the Tea Party . . . are the ones exhibiting tendencies toward irrational behavior.

Bu, Bu, Bu, But, Obama keeps telling us that it's the T-Party and Right wing conservatives that are the real terrorists, not those lovely peaceful Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda/ISIL members that would prefer to behead all infidel Americans.

Certainly in times past both Obama and the MSM have acted as if the Tea Party Movement, and Fox News for that matter, were terrorist organizations.

What I posted is based on what Obama actually said, not what conservative talker said. What you posted is ignorant & spiteful generalities, or in other words, utter LW non-sense.

OK, if this is all Rep's fault, then why has Reid refused to bring hundreds of House passed bills up in the Senate?

Yes, and I also know what Obama said. Do you?

Yea, that would be a great start since the shared outlook as to how our democracy should work is outlined in the constitution, not Obama's personal playbook, right?

    Why do you think?

Of those "hundreds of bills" would 51 of them be repeal/defund obamacare? how many are Ryan's Randian budgets? how many are to defund existing social programs? when the house deliberately includes unrelated poison pill clauses and amendments to bills (many often routine "housekeeping"), and then refuses to conference to seek a compromise what do you think the result is going to be? Seems the senate isn't quite as addicted to wasting everyone's time, effort and energy as the house.

Yes, I am quite facile. Apparently you aren't.

    No actually.

The mechanisms for achieving cooperation are outlined in the constitution, but of course those mechanisms can also be used to thwart cooperation.

I suppose you haven't noticed that every president has their own playbook. Seems the natural and DESIGNED tensions between the various pillars of government REQUIRES every president to have one to be even marginally effective. Its not like the opposition doesn't have a detailed playbook. Or do you think legislative strategies such as those displayed by the republicans in the past 6 years isn't actually an organized deliberate strategy consisting of various "plays" to be executed?

Yup, its about as close to an appology as your gonna get from the guy. He wants to get away from that so that the US can govern.

Translation: Obama's traditional tactics of using heavy handed political tactics to try and ram his generally radical agenda through while finger pointing and accusing the Right of being the moral equivalent of terrorists is going to give way to the more intelligent tactics traditionally used by most president throughout history.

The only thing is that Obama is not accustomed to doing things in a civilized manner -- politically speaking -- and so no doubt he will be doing a considerable amount of backsliding on a routine basis.

This meme from the right that Obama somehow has developed and is using tactics never before seen or used in Washington by presidents of either party is pretty silly, really.

Can y'all come up with something different?
