More nonsense, the Misery Index (inflation + unemployment) hit almost 22% under Carter, Reagan achieved 5.5% growth. Tax receipts doubled under Reagan, the problem was O'Neill and the big spending Congress.

Bush Sr. was a dope, Reagan only put him on the ticket to placate the RINOs. He was also a liar about his no-new taxes pledge.

ISIS actually is Al Qaeda. So they were not formed by Bush. And when Saddam was hung, the only actual authority in Iraq was still weak. Bush had about 11-12 months of relative peace once he conquered Saddam Hussein. Bush was never there to conquer the normal.Iraqi but Sadr was no normal Iraqi. He is still officially part of the Iraqi government. But to date no democrat has proved that Bush created a bad economy nor that It was Obama that created a good one. Obama had talent as a lawyer but not as a manager of a very large nation. No Democrat has yet named the official in the Obama that cracked the code to make a good economy. We do know that the official was not Obama.

Finally on this post, the fact is that in a meeting between Bush and Obama, The two men agreed that Bush gave up on the 2009 budget so that Obama could take charge of it. So normally it would have been, only if finished, the Bush budget. Obama wanted to get his hands on it so Bush handed it to him. The fact is most posters sadly do not know the entire truth about government.
So for 2009, Obama created the budget that some allege he inherited. But he inherited his own budget.

 

Each president is handed the nation of the previous one. You deal the hand given you. Like life, you measure success from where you started. I don’t see Trump as a great success story when he was given everything to begin with. He’s a leech.
