Obama has reached a new low these days.
Ever since February his administration is censoring a report on Iran's human rights abuses.
A report they are required by law to release.
When 5 senate members demanded they release it already a month ago, the state department responded, they are not able due to schedule conflicts.
Schedule conflicts ? Come on, censorship in the US. And for whom ? For Iran ?
Have they all gone crazy in Washington ?
    Something is extremely fishy here.
I cannot explain it anymore. Maybe someone will find the answer or some massive corruption.

    From the link you've posted:

Congress must have access to our State Department’s next official assessment before it can cast judgment on any deal the P5+1 might strike with Iran. If Iran’s already dismal human rights record has indeed continued to worsen over the last year, it would raise significant additional concerns about engaging in nuclear negotiations with this regime.

So here's your answer - the report cannot be released before nuke negotiations are concluded, for it may hurt the Iranians feelings and derail delicate process of negotiating with them. See, Obama knows what he's doing!

What is the link between human rights abuses and nuclear weapons development?

Every nation on earth has human rights abuses that could be documented and characterized as heinous. Yes even the freedom loving Americans and Euros. Funny how those human rights abuses don't seem to impact on American businesses doing business with places like China, giving money to Egypt and Israel, etc. etc., but when it comes to Iran, it all of a sudden becomes important that America doesn't do business with human rights abusers.

Not every nation on earth has nuclear weapons so it seems to me that human rights abuses take a back seat to nuclear proliferation.

Sen. Ted Cruz is introducing legislation to fine the State Department for its failure to release a report on Iran.
    Do it.
