Let us know right away when that minor flaw happens when neocons & *********s have a minimum 2/3 majority and yay-vote in the House & Senate required to impeach and remove Obama from office ...

But that isn't 'declaring' war because bush the failure didn't ask for a declaration, he didn't have the stones.

Facts and truth to a conservative are like garlic and holy water to a vampire.

He did not violate the rule, the war powers act gives the President the power to act with force for a limited time, President Obama was well within that time frame.

Congress wont impeach unless they think its popular. So between now and November conservatives need to call for impeachment loudly and frequently. The best way would be to make it a plank in the party platform. Get out there and make some noise!!!!

No, actually the Republicans made the US a laughing stock by trying to impeach Clinton in an obvious political move.

Remember, he was acquitted on all counts by a Republican-controlled Senate.

Another back-handed swipe at Bush? You FAIL, because "W" Bush did go to Congress for a vote on the Iraq hostilities BEFORE he launched the invasion in 2003! And in case your memory is faulty, Congress voted in favor of the action!

Now, tell us, for once, how you Obama lovers can possibly defend your autocratic President Warlord and his completely illegal adventure in Libya, which posed no "imminent threat" to the United States? When did the Congress get to vote on military action against Libya? WHEN? Suggestion: cloud the issue with another smokescreen and sidestep the question. You cannot possibly answer it truthfully without admitting that Obama should have been impeached and removed from office....

Wrong. The War Powers Resolution provides that the president is constitutionally authorized to use U.S. military forces only under three circumstances:

    1. Congress has declared war.
    2. Congress has provided "statutory authority" for the President to use forces.
    3. An attack on the United States has created a national emergency.

Obama clearly violated this Federal Law because none of these three events occured, and there was no "imminent threat" to the United States.
Consequently, ten members of the United States House of Representatives, Republicans AND Democrats, filed suit against the Obama regime for breaking the law.

At worst, Obama is a scheming, power-grabbing autocrat who is determined to undermine the U. S. Constitution in every way imaginable. At best, Obama is a pathetically naive, incandescent imbecile with a dangerously egocentric concept of his own infallibility. And you on the Left want that to be re-elected...? :psychoitc:

Every President in the modern era has found loopholes around that and precedent gives the President a great deal of leniency concerning military actions that are not formally declared wars.

Wouldn't signed treaties with our allies stating that we would aid them in times of military hostilities constitute "statutory authority"? Those treaties are ratified by Congress.

Just curious.... are you lying, or simply reading impaired? Because that order does not say what you claim.

It's merely talking about how he would implement a 1950 national defense law in the case of a national emergency -- something only Congress can declare, btw.

You may be unaware that it is the president's job to carry out Congress' laws.

As I said in my earlier post, don't just gripe about. Shout it to the rooftops! March! Write your congressperson! Work to get it written into the GOP platform.

Unless you make a lot of noise about this, it isn't going to happen. And make sure the public and representatives know it is conservatives stepping forward to save the country by impeaching the dictator Obama.

    Go loud, or go home.

I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.....the same way I did not when there was talk about prosecuting Bush and Cheney......whatever happened to that one? Face it Americans, you have no control over your government and leaders……it’s a dictatorship in the forming. You don't even have the right to protest the government.
