    Is anyone honestly shocked?

    From CNSNews
President Barack Obama sent no White House representative to the
memorial Mass held yesterday in Rochester, New Hampshire, for James
Foley, the American journalist beheaded by the Islamic State in Iraq and
    al-Sham (ISIS) terrorists.

President Obama, however, did send three White House aides to Monday’s
funeral for Michael Brown, an 18-year-old African American fatally shot in
an encounter with a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo.

This one does surprise me a bit. But then if I was a member of the Foley family I wouldn't want an administration representative there.

I certainly understand. I wouldn't want this president to represent any
member of my family for whatever reason.

However, he should have at least asked the family if they wanted a
White Horse Souse, I mean a White House source to represent them
and allow them to stick it in his face and say NO!
