    Here's the story: http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/ted-cruz-obama-cuba-che-guevara-mural/2016/03/21/id/720191/

Why does the leader of a free nation--a nation whose founding fathers risked their lives, their fortunes, and their futures to defeat a tyrant and establish the first free nation in world, a nation built upon the principles of the enlightenment, reason and individual rights--shake the hands of the human butchering Castro and idolize the barbaric, sadistic, torturing, murdering, evil piece of cockroach crap known as Che Guevara? Because beginning with Kant in the 18th century, the intellectuals and philosophers have taught men they are insane...and some men finally believed them and have lost their minds.

The only solution, man must have a rebirth of reason, a new enlightenment, a return to the grandeur of the heroic being he is. How? Think!

"The most profoundly revolutionary achievement of the United States of America was the subordination of society to moral law. The principle of man’s individual rights represented the extension of morality into the social system—as a limitation on the power of the state, as man’s protection against the brute force of the collective, as the subordination of might to right. The United States was the first moral society in history. All previous systems had regarded man as a sacrificial means to the ends of others, and society as an end in itself. The United States regarded man as an end in himself, and society as a means to the peaceful, orderly, voluntary co-existence of individuals. All previous systems had held that man’s life belongs to society, that society can dispose of him in any way it pleases, and that any freedom he enjoys is his only by favor, by the permission of society, which may be revoked at any time. The United States held that man’s life is his by right (which means: by moral principle and by his nature), that a right is the property of an individual, that society as such has no rights, and that the only moral purpose of a government is the protection of individual rights."--Ayn Rand

"Man came into his own in Greece, some two-and-a-half thousand years ago. The birth of philosophy marked his adulthood; not the content of any particular system of philosophy, but deeper: the concept of philosophy—the realization that a comprehensive view of existence is to be reached by man’s mind.

Philosophy is the goal toward which religion was only a helplessly blind groping. The grandeur, the reverence, the exalted purity, the austere dedication to the pursuit of truth, which are commonly associated with religion, should properly belong to the field of philosophy. Aristotle lived up to it and, in part, so did Plato, Aquinas, Spinoza—but how many others? It is earlier than we think.

If you observe that ever since Hume and Kant (mainly Kant, because Hume was merely the Bertrand Russell of his time) philosophy has been striving to prove that man’s mind is impotent, that there’s no such thing as reality and we wouldn’t be able to perceive it if there were—you will realize the magnitude of the treason involved"--Ayn Rand

    http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/philosophy.html

It is philosophy that brought this nation into being, it is philosophy that is murdering it, and its only philosophy that can save her...and that philosophy is not Trump's pragmatism, or Bernie's socialism, or Cruz's conservatism, or Hillary's progressivism, or Kasich's liberalism, but Ayn Rand's Objectivism.

The choice is yours: A prosperous world created by reason, or a blood drenched hellhole filled with screams and horror created by monsters.

    Its your life you decide.

I knew Obama was a radical internationalist socialist who hates America but for the past couple of days Obama has sounded like a Marxist.

What's next, will Barack and Raul be taking in a baseball game together ?

You tell me, how much diplomacy is needed between Hitler and Poland, between Mao and the farmers, between Stalin and the Kulaks, between Jack-the-Rippper and a lady of the evening. I'd say none because there is no common ground between the evil and the good except the destruction of one or the other.

Since the US has attacked Cuba, but not the other way around, you're argument only works if you're equating the U.S. to Hitler, Mao, Stalin and Jack the Ripper (WTF?), but I don't think that is what you intended.

I'm torn between putting you on ignore because no one can be this deliberately ignorant, or treating your post as an honest opinion by young, fledging idealist seeking enlightenment.

For now, I'll choose the later: You don't make deals with monsters. Cuba is run by human butchering monsters. Che was one of its most hideous and murderous monsters. So again, you don't make deals with monsters? Why? Because there is no compromise between food and poison, between romantic love and rape, and between liberty and tyranny that doesn't damage the good and reward the evil. None. At anytime. Forever. Amen.

The relevant lines from the link on the OP say it all and you really can't defend this unless you are a closet Marxist like Obama is.

" Obama posed for pictures in front of a mural for Guevara in Havana's Revolution Square.

Associated Press reporter Peter Orsi tweeted that Obama's decision to pose as the familiar image of the Argentine guerrilla gazed down at him caused "a collective gasp" in the press room"

As always, nobody is more hypocritical than the right wingers.

If Obama is a communist for posing in front of Che Guevara's photo, then all those Republicans are even bigger commies because they posed before leaders of commie governments.

Holy smokes talk about splitting hairs!. Let's do comparisons then. Che killed about 400, Mao's leadership resulted in the deaths of 70 million, in peacetime!

Don't really care, don't think he does as he's on his way out.
If I went to Cuba, I'd probably get a pic in front of that too. Doesn't mean my values are lost.

As were Stalin and Mao, more than 100 million dead between them. Why do they get a pass?

Because the current leaders of said nations are not killing thousands a year. Unlike their predecessors.
Our idiot president even met with "dissidents" in Cuba. I wonder how long they will be alive.
