I gather that you do not understand the purpose of a "representative government". "Their achievements" is to honor the will of the people. Once the electorate saw what the Democrat control yielded we put the GOP as majority in the house. That was a MANDATE by the people to stop the Democrat agenda. THere was no "achievement" to protect, the people spoke and Democrats ignored so the people put the GOP as majority in the Senate and Obama then took out his phone and pen again ignoring the MANDATE by the people, so we tossed the Democrat from the WH too.

With respect to reaching across the aisle, do I really need to pull up the youtube videos of Obama telling McCain "I won" or telling the GOP to get in the back of the bus?

The people have spoken loud and clear. Look to the state legislatures, the governors mansions, the US house and Senate and now the WH.

WE DO NOT WANT DEMOCRAT POLICIES.

Democrats need to face reality that their liberalism is what has sunk them. California and NYNY are not representative of American values

I think with the touch of the screen, Trump can immediately robo-sign the end of all of BO's EO's.

2 more days till they expire.:cheerleader:

What you don't realize, or perhaps you do, is these democrats are showing how unimportant they currently are in Washington. They'll scream, cry and sit in the floor but nothing will come of it. This isn't a failure for Trump that a bunch of sore losers want to stay in their safe space. But hey keep trying you may be able convince yourself

Kind of. Personally I believe that a party that truly wanted to provide positive input would have attempted to work with Obama on crafting adjustments to the legislation. Instead they spent millions of dollars on failed votes to abolish it entirely. If they had tried that, then maybe OC would be in a stronger position then it is today. Unfortunately the scortched earth policy has led them to now, where they have to actually craft something new. I'll be curious to see where US health care is WRT spending and costs to the people in 4 years.

As for the Debt Ceiling, that was all political theatre. If they really wanted to control spending/debt, then focus on that, not on the money already spent and required to be repayed.

For sure. Just remember, this is how the Dems felt in 08. I doubt the Dems will be gone from Govt forever.

Sure. And I'll pull up all the news stories about Obama reaching across the Isle and the Dems getting mad about it.

For sure. And elections happen every 2 years. But at least now Everything is on the Republicans. There are no Dems they can blame for anything anymore. They can only rise or fall on their own. I'll be curious to see the results (though Obama has given them a much better situation then he got, so maybe be a tad thankful for that)
Why not? Aren't they apart of America? Or is it just because you don't agree with them that you think they aren't part of america.

He has already been "trumped" by Trump in that regard. The incoming blowhard-in-chief is a joke and people will not tolerate him for long.

Hmmm, how will there be "health insurance for everyone" if upstanding taxpayers such as yourself aren't covering those who can't afford it?

We use "fewer" to describe numerable objects (fewer cats) and "less" to describe something innumerable (less water, less heat, etc.). That's all I'm pointing out here.
